Problem is, the damage is now wreaked and while I welcome amything that shames the whole lot of them I doubt it will make much difference.

As much as it pains me to even glance at the daily fail, it wasn't bad. Doesn't really tell us anything new but glad of the national coverage.
Looking forward to see what Mr Conn has to say.

Unfortunate that we are still in a situation where nobody will actually commit to naming the person who carried out the very serious rule infringement of authorising illegal player payments.
I've discounted Turner as Carson made him redundant, proving that it couldn't have been him. That leaves, err.................

Sympathy? We are talking football fans here, there is more chance it will revive 'Cheaterfield' sentiments

As the 4th oldest club in the league we’ve had sod all air time on our plight. IMO of it was Notts County, we’d have heard much much more.
TV far too interested in Premier League and lost causes such as West Brom to be bothered about us.

I similarly wasn’t bothered about Stockport, Torquay, Hereford, etc. etc. etc. So maybe the lesson for me and fans of all league clubs is, be careful of complacency, you’re only a couple of bad years away from disaster. To use an expression “there but for the grace of god go I”

Probably more chance than David Conn
(As David Conn gets hundreds of letters weekly from fans all over the UK asking him to write about their club like he is some sort of journalistic saviour! Wouid love him to do so though)

David Conn was at the game on Saturday and was seen speaking to at least 1 board member

Just shows clueless you can be then. I'd be amazed if he didn't pen the most substantial, accurate and certainly the most sympathetic piece as he's done four or five times in the past.
and it isn't about being a saviour, it is about putting information out there in the public domain ( for what that is worth)
