Have a look at Burton's budget for the season. It's bought them an even worse home record than we have, which is remarkable. Then ask yourself how many people would stick with watching that for a season, with the only possible measure of success being scraping out of the bottom three. It makes our home season look like a bundle of laughs.
Which is what DA could see coming. So could many others. Difference is, DA was the one standing to lose a lot of money - it concentrates the mind wonderfully.

DA is losing money hand over fist. The club is losing supporters. And the club is in the shoite. As predicted, by people, who you said were deluded.

Not to mention, that we're going to finish last, again, this time of the entire EFL... never mind scraping out of the bottom three. Constantly trying to double down on the nonsense just makes you look ridiculous.

That midweek game there (when me and a couple of others asked to be let out at half time it was so awful) it was doubtful there were many more than a thousand home fans.

I've already told you. If we had got up every game would have been close to a sell out as we'd have shifted six thousand season tickets easily.

Agree, and with investment and slow building season on season, the club could comfortably do what Scunthorpe, Walsall and Crewe did and have at least a 4/5 year stay in that division. Instead, the club imploded and we will never, unless a billionaire takes over and bankrolls the club, return to that position ever.

I am writing here as a Blackpool supporter who has enjoyed many trips to Saltergate, although we lost most of them, :) regardless of how good our team was at the time!

Chesterfield is a great club and you need to get YOUR club back. Not A Penny More is the only way you will get change, and that is what you want and need. You are custodians of Chesterfield FC and need to be able to pass the club on to future generations.

At Blackpool, we have had protests, pitch invasions, tennis balls, non-renewal of season tickets, non attendance of games and now have tiny attendances, court cases, non attendance of a Wembley final and the list goes on. Oyston FC isn't our club but the day will one day arrive when we will have our club back - and glorious that day will be.

You have three more games to start the fightback for YOUR club and make a stand against everything that you disagree with. Use the press, TV etc to your advantage.

At Blackpool, there has been a courtcase and Oyston now owes 32 million pounds to Valeri Belekon. However nothing has changed since November last year - we remain hopeful that lasting change will happen but the supporters will not go back to the club until it does. If that means forever, then so be it.

Be strong and show courage for YOUR club. Evo will forever be a Blackpool legend and will know exactly what is going on.

Hmmmm....now let me see!!!

Would I sooner us be in Burton's position of avoiding getting relegated from the Championship instead of dropping out the entire football league????

Lincoln must be the model for building crowds and a club in lower leagues. The Cowleys have got the city and surrounds on board. The directors have just given them a longer contract, on Thursday, when they were worried about them being poached by Ipswich. They are now trying to work out how to deal with the demand for next season as the ground is full every week. 2000 to 9000 home fans in less than two seasons, plus, if you go to Lincoln now, so many kids in the city are wearing Lincoln shirts. New training ground and bar / hospitality areas in the ground announced too.

Two years ago, they were struggling in non-league and had massive debts.

Yep. Apparently Dave saw it coming. Well H Again if Dave posesses such clairvoyant qualities why the fook didn’t he see that Turner was incompetent, Saunders too, Wilson needed backing, Caldwell was an arrogant failure and Carson is a sycophantic peddler of a plethora of inconsistent tales?

There’s one bloke to blame for all this and he is probably presently sat in a shed in Apperknowle surrounded by bird ****....

It won’t happen but, I reckon total silence from beginning to end from town fans would be a powerful message. It would be a weird atmosphere indeed.

If Wycombe fans had come on a motorbike and sidecar and still had room that might work but they will be making noise to urge their team towards promotion so a silence from us would not have the the desired effect ie total silence

If the weather is poor on Tuesday however there might not be anybody there anyway to make a noise :windup

In hindsight what a masterstroke that was to postpone the Newport match on Easter Monday

We were up to 4200 weren't we anyway? 6k would have been easily achieved. All academic now of course but we'd have averaged 8000 comfortably.

Hell, the corners would have been begging to be filled.

What the eff are you on?

To finish out of the bottom 3 to a Burton fan is like winning the league.

Every game last season was like a cup final for them. They loved it.

It's been harder this season because the novelty value of playing the big teams has worn off a little.

I dont see any sense at all in your Burton comparisons.

Me. And the away fans of Villa, Cardiff, Middlesbrough, SUFC, SWFC, Derby, Fulham, Wolves, Leeds, and many others who would help swell our crowds substantially.
And plenty of CFC fans, for whom see their team playing in tier two is either a faint memory, or, mostly, a lifetime first.
You have surpassed yourself.
