Thought most of the NAPM brigade were withholding their home support until AC and DA had departed.

Never read anything anywhere that this had been made conditional regarding the nature of any new owners.

Seems as if, maybe, some members of the stay away group are now looking to move the goalposts - so what should we do now - wait until the new owners replacing DA etc are replaced by new owners themselves who might not be our cup of tea so wait until the new new owners are replaced by new new new owners and so on.

I might not live long enough to see this one through so I've got my season ticket anyway.

Approximately 600 season ticket holders have decided not to renew and we are yet to see what impact this will have on total gate income. Only a fool would deride their decision(s). Perhaps the majority are waiting for their club to be run in a fit and proper manner.

Can't see that happening in the future.

You see the new consortium are going to pay wages, vat/tax etc on walk ups and what they spend plus any sponsorship they can drum up.

In my humble opinion we'll sell owt that moves that has a value.

Wonder what MA will make of all this so soon after getting the job, especially if they are going to insist on a director of football. Brearley probably lurking in the shadows. How long before Brian Deane is installed as team boss 🤨

Exactly, beat me to it. If the Swedish or Chinese bids had been pursued and accepted: clean slate. Local Chesterfield consortium, open arms. Another Sheffield bunch of losers (based on research and knowledge), no thanks.
dtp won’t have to wait long, this will unravel very quickly. First sign will be MA waving goodbye.

MA must be totally peed off. Must feel like being stabbed in the back by DA. If all the NAPM group are waiting for reputable owners to run the club before coming back, well all I can say is they won't be coming back.

Apparently so but DA appears to have been offering that to any interested bidder

So is it pay DA £3m for the club which clears all his loans, then basically take over the mortgage from DA for the ground and therefore if there was a default in payment, DA would have the ground and club for free?

the sad/scary thing about this latest episode is that it has just become the norm for this football club, rumours of a potential takeover with more questions than answers about the potential buyers, style of sale etc. u-turns from boardroom level about timescales and intentions. straight talking no-nonsense dave allen (calls a spade a shovel remember) states that he is back to get the club back to league one level then look to sell, now potentially courting a move to sell us before our debut gig in the national league kicks off, but is it a sale or part sale or loan for a sale??? round we go again.

How can these people buy the club if they are borrowing from the current owner to do so? Surely that won’t pass the fit and proper persons investigation?

Lets hope not, or I fear for the Club's future if we don't go up this season. The one bright hope is that we have Martin Allen leading the charge, I believe in Him. Come on DA don't ick the fans in the whatsits yet again, by selling us to a bunch of no hopers.

I don't think so as AC told me the club would be debt free, a mortgage of course is a debt

What makes you think that MA hasn’t asked loads of questions on these issues already? Do you think he’s just been standing with his hands in his pockets whistling a merry tune? Not on your Nellie!

Do people honestly believe that Martin Allen has only just found out about all this today?
He must've known about a potential consortium with a D O F because it's been floating around in the background for while now. The new consortium must've spoken to him at some point and he is bound to have asked them questions himself so all the paranoia about him being undermined is just gonna be worthless worries.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

MA questions will probably have been asked ie. is there going to be any further investment in players , is there going to be a DOF over me. Hence the peed off comment. Just assumptions of course which may or may not be wrong.
