The occupation can in no way be used as justification for the abhorrent rape and murder of those festival goers - and that doesn’t justify what Netanyahu is doing now.

You’re getting there but still have a tendency to play the perpetually victims card without stepping back and trying to be objective and see the deeper bigger picture and being able to be critical of all sides.


Your enemy is the top layer. Who influence and finance and push the agenda of political power. The elites who want to keep the concentration of wealth and power where it is I.e. taking what little power you have you have in your hands and make voting a pointless exercise that means no real change and that your vote changes nothing in any meaningful way.

Don’t let your moral compass (I like its direction) be misdirected by trinkets offered from charlatans from all sides.


Don’t go down the rabbit holes of the extremists be they political or social or religious or identity ideology.

You and 'Oldgoat' were continuing the conversation in the context of comparing the Netanyahu regime's behaviour to that of the Nazis.

My example was of a people being surrounded, subjugated, starved and slaughtered and their land then razed to the ground.

The parallels obvious to anyone prepared to grasp them.

I shouldn't have to explain the causes of the conflict are entirely different, of course they are. However what we're now seeing is an Israeli government breaking the cease fire it signed and mimicking events of eighty years ago simply to keep itself in power...
