Genuinely intrigued by this as I understand he's honest, hardworking & cares about his work.

What's the catch?

Well here's him being appointed at a Carson Yeung owned Birmingham City: http://www.birmingha...s-chosen-105630

Then here's him quitting a Carson Yeung owned Birmingham City: http://www.birmingha...michael-3932481

That's this Carson Yeung: https://en.wikipedia...ki/Carson_Yeung

And reading that surely an honest man would run a mile...

That'll be the same owner who's sold, sold and sold again before walking out nearly a year ago.

Or the owner who paid for our nice new stadium and continues to put his hand in his pocket on a regular basis. If he DID walk out we'd be non-league and playing at Somersall, but don't let that stop your whingeathon.

We could be non-league with him still as Owner and still playing out our own ground.

You've made no point there.

What a sad example

Ashley Carson quote, from the Derbyshire times -

'The rot has got to stop somewhere, the club at the moment is just imploding, it's been destroyed and it's just so wrong.'

Who's responsible for this rot? For the implosion? Who's destroyed the club?

And just a little reminder -

Well, since he [Chris Turner]took over he's completely revolutionised the clubs non-playing structure, he's acquired a scouting and youth training set-up second to none at this level and some way above, and done it all without increasing the debt to anything unmanageable or even significantly higher.
By any measure that I can see we're a successful business - it doesn't come through luck.

This is, don't forget, the youth training venture Turner and Sutcliffe set up and left local families hundreds of pounds out of pocket.

As for all the other points, which are probably even more important in the long term, it's all CEO territory - the club has been completely re-vamped, not just in personnel but in its outlook. Change doesn't just happen, it has to be driven through against obstacles, and that's the CEO's job.
But the basic question has to be - is the club successful at this moment and in comparison with similar businesses? Well, it looks pretty successful to me, in fact it looks to have the infrastructure of a Championship outfit, quite apart from the football credentials, which transformation I'm sure was in CT's brief from the start.
So successful club - credit to the CEO.

Yep, so successful Turner was sacked, were in the bottom 2 and our debts are now at a level they outweigh the assets. Insolvent.

Well, just returning after a few days to this thread it seems that the CEO has run rings round all the high-flying accountants on here once again

Ultimately the responsibility lies with the owner. These people are his chosen appointments and he chose to stick with them, despite all evidence pointing to unsuitability and a lack of competence.

I can only wonder what motivation you have for supporting such a regime at the club. Perhaps you align your self with thier morals.
A new hope.

Ah yes, the one where he reported you to the moderators, denied reporting you until a moderator confirmed it, and then came up with the cock and bull story about being concerned for your well being.

He lies almost as much as Carson and when caught out shows the same levels of contrition as Carson

No wonder he's fully supportive of the current regime.
A new hope.

Because I'm not some cowardly troll posting sneers from behind a computer I attended the AGM when Dave Allen walked out.

Then the league table tells us we could be non-league whilst the Club's finances tell us we could be playing at Somersall.

I'm happy to discuss the events that've brought us to this point any time you choose just as I'm happy to introduce you to folk who've patiently and professionally uncovered the behaviour of those you've endorsed.

Just PM me and I'll arrange everything.

PS: I'll also PM you this post so you can't pretend not to've seen it.

And I'm happy to arrange a quiet room with decent ale in one of "H"s old stomping grounds. Genuine offer. Any takers?
