If they are the smallest on line group, how much are the others worth, obscene really that so many folk must be betting so often to make these companies so profitable.

Pity Dave Allen never went into online betting.

The surge in online mobile phone betting might be why DA is no longer prepared to throw around a million a year at CFC?
He also sold his London casino for £5 million the week before last, Napoleons has closed and the freehold is up for sale.
Certainly changing the cards he holds business wise for the future.

I'm no expert on land prices etc but £5m for a plot in Leicester Square seems ridiculously low.

just the business and no ownership of the land/building?
Otherwise that’s hardly likely. A 0.9 acre plot of land in Whitechapel sold for that recently. Just land. No building etc.

yep its just the business, leasehold buildings with rent payable to landlord.
But casino licences in London are hard to come by, especially with a Westminster address, so the value is in the licence - Westminster wont issue any more licences so its a case of buy what there is if you want one...
£5m still seems low from my position...

Had a tenner as I typed the original post.
Edit, just tried to put a tenner on for my uncle and between adding to bet slip and trying to place the bet was told the price had changed to 2/1. Although still 9/4 on Skybet!
