Or lose and do the sensible thing and sack Caldwell an try again.
No easy choices here for the fans or the idiots in charge.

Unfortunately, any replacement will be arranged by everyone's tavourite clueless clown - Carson - I don't trust him to make the right decisions, so whatever happens will undoubtedly sink us.

I would be amazed if anyone came in tomorrow because on the evidence so far you wouldn't trust Caldwell and Branston, who has been remarkably quiet of late, with their choices.
In some ways I would not be upset with a loss tomorrow if it would push Caldwell closer if not through the door.
But .....hey ho......this is football and there are managers that have been on the point of dismissal before who have hit on a winning formula at the last minute and saved their skin. Ferguson at Manure and more recently Johnson at Barnsley spring to mind.

maybe it will be similar to the 4-0 home defeat by Swindon under Saunders, the final straw result the players possibly wanted

BUT mr Carson be very, very careful on the next appointment because it could just be the most important in the clubs history.
No club is too big or too good to be relegated from any league these days. If the next manager fails we could end up like Stockport, Darlington etc etc.
So please, please Mr Carson think about the fans and what we're going through.
P.s no G C for November 25th. That doesn't bear thinking about.

Could be that GC has us over an unusual barrel, such **** players that only he would want to manage them.

Don't think DA/AC will let him go lightly...

IF we did lose the next five league games, he'd be gone, I'm sure.

I'm not carson brought him in to do a job, and i think he's doing whats expected of him, no other club would tolerate such failure.

I dont think we will hear anything from any of them before or after the weekend to be honest. Perhaps try emailing Carson direct?

I agree. Caldwell's job is completely secure for now unless attendances massively decline.
