Assume he will be playing left back until Williams is back then

Looks like he was mid hair cut when we signed him

Played for England at U16/17/19/20/21 as well as a full international cap for Guyana

Edit: and the youngest ever player in Premier League history

But how does that level up with how many we let go\sold\binned\sacked off since the end of last season? Suspect its about level pegging isnt it?

Well it seems GC has no confidence in our defence having signed what is it 3 or 4 defenders now.

Does this mean he will bench Evo and Hirdy.

If so who will be skipper ?

Will he put Hirdy just in front of the back 4.

Dennis can't play out wide, he is a natural goalscorer, not a winger.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!

I honestly don't get this players can't play in certain positions, they are professional footballers.

So the one player who seems capable of getting into positions to score goals, is scoring goals and folk were saying we have to keep at all costs is going to get thrown out onto the wing....unlikely i would have thought!

Whilst yes to an extent there is no point in taking a player and playing him in a position where you dont get the full potential out of him. As i mentioned with Dennis...why take the one goalscorer we have it seems and shove him somewhere he isnt going to see that many chances to score to fit other players in.

Unlikely? He dropped him for the Grimsby game and also subbed him at Notts County despite him being our best player and O'Grady having a shocker. With O'Grady being the highest paid player in the club's history there is no chance he will be dropped and if he plays 1 up top it will be him.

I'd much rather see Dennis through the middle but there is a clear reluctance to play 2 central strikers upfront. I'd rather see Dennis somewhere in the starting 11 than on the bench.

Was Briggs the guy who got roasted by Dan Gardner a couple of times in the 6-0 romp v Colchester a couple of years back?

To clarify,a forward should be able to play up front,a midfielder across the middle,a defender across the back,I may be being a bit simplistic but I do think football is over complicated at times.
