More wigan cast offs. At least there not Wednesday! Anybody believe anything Carson says or trust Caldwell to get the tactics right?

To be fair Flores played well Saturday and was agruably mom....a lot better than what we've been watching of late on that area...

To be fair jon, they kno caldwell and vice versa, so both parties no what each other bring to the table, and if they were part of the team that took league1 by storm then they should be more than good enough for league 2

Expected something may happen this week....it has been mentioned that this move may happen from their end for the past week or so...can only be good for the squad to have a left back in ....allow Flores to go more central where he was very effective last week.

That's now cover for every position all over the pitch. Maybe an experienced midfielder missing and that's it?! We have a very strong league two squad on paper. Time to put it into practice.

I thought he was quite decent. Not heard his name since.

Hope he's a decent replacement for donohue was hoping we would sign him rather than a loan but suppose loans are better as not tied down to the club if they don't do well

30 senior appearances since 2014, hardly a regular starter wherever he has been, although Man Utd took him on loan a couple of years ago so he must have something.

Man United took El Fitouri.
At 5 foot 7, you have to think Kellet's assets must include looking after the ball, and playing as a wing back. When he joined Wigan, he said he liked playing in a 3-5-2.

Re the number of appearances, apparently he had a serious knee injury at the July 2016 Portugal training camp (that sounds familiar!)

In reality now the recall/send back option has gone it's not much different than a one year deal, except he wouldn't be our player to sell in January

Hardly the first manager in history to go back to his old club for players or sign players he is familiar with....Sheridan did it with some good success the year he won League 2 with us and Cook has done it to an extent as well.
