McGinn is the only established defender now vaguely capable of fulfilling his role, so he's never going to get a proper game is he?

Dimaio knows where he should be and what he should be trying to do in midfield. He can't always, or even often, do it though. None of the others are really worth a light, though Weir probably knows what is happening until his brain runs out of oxygen as his body is consumed by lactic ....

Good that you could recognise the only two players who can actually run without any prompting. Well done.

McGinn was decent before the injury. Dimaio has been a major failure. He's sluggish and can't tackle properly. Don't patronize.

How does this get tommy fit, he should not hardly touch a ball, keepers dont get fit in matches.

True-(actually no one really gets fit in matches) but it'll be good confidence wise for him.

I once saw the Romanian Euro 96 side warming up against a local Durham youth side. The Romanians provided both keepers, though, one of whom had his work cut out palming away 30-yarders that Hagi kept taking as he couldn't be bothered to run.
These go to eleven.

Tommy was captain, great talker and organiser, we need him back

Don't know final score, went in shorts and flip flops and it was freezing

Tommy made a couple of cracking saves and looked solid in the air. They gave us a good game but we finished well tonight and their keeper made several class saves, The youngsters played well and I was impressed by the 1st year academic Levi? a giant of a cf. Motm was our no.6, whilst Connor D had a cracking game and deserves a start on Saturday.

Connor Fowler was the No6 I too thought he had a decent game, with a cracking goal also.

Levi Amantchi, from Wallsend Boys Club. Looked very good at Belper in pre-season too.
These go to eleven.

Yes, he looked powerful and tricky

But against a very young Handsworth side Armand would have looked good

Maybe give him a run in that U23 competition
