H has traditionally been a critic of Hird, not Evatt

He's a cowardly keyboard warrior who hasn't got the decency to debate his views person to person. Not worth the time of day.

The problems we have are obviously not restricted to the CB pairing but, on this issue specifically, I do honestly think Evo needs to be back up and not a starter, depending on GC making a signing. I know Evo is a bit of a cult hero among a section of fans, especially on the kop, but thats my opinion.

In 90% of matches over the past 2 years Evo has stood out as a MOTM candidate. I believe the issue is Hird, he can switch off between 4-5 times game. This causes loads of issues at the back.

My main point is the goalkeeping situation. We never have a good season when Tommy is not in the side for periods. He is the best shot stopper in L1&2. The amount of 1 on 1 saves he makes is incredible. If you play this expansive football, you need the best goalkeeper in the league in between the sticks. You just can't get away from that fact. Unfortunately Anyon is not consistent enough, this has been proven at his previous clubs. He is a back up keeper by nature.

How many points does Tommy save the club in a season 20+ maybe?

I fully believe with Tommy in the net we could have held on for a point against County, or even nicked a 1-0?
