Apparently Branston asked him for a pay off when he sacked him, why ?. Because all the players he had bought in were now in the first team. Ashley told him to f off. lol you couldn't make it up

Whats happened with the policy about not signing autographs? that seems to have been swept under the carpet, i noticed a young kid getting Weir's autograph at the end of the game on Saturday

There was a later clarification rendering the whole ill-judged statement pretty much redundant.
