Even if it's not anyone from the club that is involved, they have courted so many unsavoury characters with open arms that this IS their doing, even if it's indirectly.

Had they not embraced the likes of Bingham, Al Nasser, Sutcliffe, Fitzgerald and so on, there wouldn't have been anything for F2 to dig into.

For me, the blame and responsibility lies firmly st the feet of the dee dahs.

I agree but if this continues, the #notapennymore campaign will gain momentum.

If the club have nothing to do with this, they need to stamp on it before things start to escalate.
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

And would you believe them if they said they didn't?

If the club declined to get behind a supporter in this way, their silence would speak volumes.

It already does my friend. Wouldn't make an iota of a difference to their innocence even then #notapennymore

There lies the problem! Nobody believes a word that comes out of the club anymore. On the other hand, they aren't going to turn round an admit it are they!? Not even our lot are that stupid.

It's true I'd be sceptical but they have to start somewhere.

If they don't start addressing these problems , this club is heading for non league and possibly oblivion and Mr Allen's investment will be worthless.

I think you will find the person who was constantly nagging for details on here with the four different accounts was fully aware of the events leading to F2's decision to delete his account.

This is the first door the Police should be knocking on and asking a few questions.

That's where we are heading if the deedahs are still here! I don't know what's happening at the club or what Allen's end game is.

Anyway enough of football and a totally different subject.. I've seen films were clever folk use clever accountants to move money about until it becomes untraceable. I can't remember the film titles now, anyone know the films I'm thinking of or am I'm dreaming them up?

Like some have said already, the club may well not be involved in this, but their cataclysmic catalogue of errors, scandals, lies and ignorance have created a situation whereby fans are having to go to such lengths to root out the evil within the club that it seems they are putting themselves in physical danger. They embraced these characters, protected them for as long as it suited them then paid them off when they needed a fall character. And all this has deflected for the just as big a scandal of the disappearing finances. Nothing they can do now will win me back and I'm firmly backing the #notapennymore campaign until they get gone out of the club I love and stop tarnishing it's great history.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!

Indeed. But the silence also speaks very very loudly.

I'd imagine the dee dahs are in deep discussions about what to do next.

Things sometimes develop a momentum of their own and are very hard to,turn around. It's already getting "too late" for Carson to address. I wouldn't believe him anyway. Too many times has this boy cried wolf.

A new hope.

If they do make a statement then it brings the matter to the attention of a much wider audience so it then has the potential to officially get lots of other parties involved, including those who might dig even deeper and with lots more clout and won't be "warned off", so to speak, so as to get to the bottom of this whole horrible episode, and I'm sure the club would welcome this being sorted for the better.

Just to reinforce the message that although no one involved at CFC would do this, it does happen at other clubs. Taking one at random.......

Wiki - 'Lee Strafford is an English businessman, the former chairman of Sheffield Wednesday F.C., the Football club based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.'

'Strafford gave an oddball exclusive interview to the Sheffield Star in which he revealed “I’ve had death threats”'

This is pure speculation, guesswork, and perhaps not particularly good timing.....

At the recent Fans' Forum, Ashley was asked (I think by Zorro if memory serves) to confirm that Dennis Bingham was not involved in the bid from an 'Australian' company. Ashley said he wasn't. A few days later, Ashley confirmed that the Australian bid had been rejected. However, a few days ago Ashley confirmed that the bid was back on.

A cynic like me might wrongly conclude that the Australian company needed time to find a front man who might not fail any due diligence research that certain people on this board carry out with ruthless efficiency and publish, unlike our Board of Directors who are shyyte at it for some unknown reason.

As there were already rumours of Bingham's involvement in this bid prior to the Fans' Forum, Ashley ought to quash them by divulging details of the people behind it in confidence to Moondog for vetting on our behalf.

Heavies present at home games last season.

Heavies present at a fans forum meeting last season.

Heavies present at the AGM last season.

Heavies visit a well respected local business man/CFC sponsor/season ticket holder who dares to investigate the many wrong doings/questionable enterprises linked to CFC at his place of work.

Forgive me if there isn't some sort of pattern here ?

We'd all welcome some sort of official comment Ashley.

Let's hope there is cctv footage at Freelander's place of owrk

The Aussie bid is back on? It must only be coincidence that all this has happened.

I just wish to point out AC was made aware of the incident nearly two weeks ago and expressed the same sentiments that this behaviour was well out of order.

AC has met Freelander on a number of occasions with others to discuss our concerns about issues at the club, as has been documented on here and I don't recall him ever asking that any of his postings be removed. In fact I don't recall anyone going through the proper channels of reporting his postings. There is no evidence that anyone at the club is involved in this incident.

If someone was to order some heat being applied to a problem, I'm pretty sure when asked about it they wouldn't be informing everyone it was all their idea. Not saying this is the case, just that it stands to reason they would publicly adopt the view that it was wrong.
