[b]Here's a few sensible views from the scunny forum - tragic but true.

I thought I'd post them to give a true reflection of what decent supports think of us at the moment - not a lot.

not surprised they only brought 300 odd fans today

It was like the team almost gave up in parts of the game, especially for the third goal when the centre back watched the ball trickle in.

Iron fans have moaned this season at the perceived lack of effort from a few of our own but I’d be totally ashamed if I was a spirite fan.

Professional performance from our boys and it feels as if there is some momentum begining to build again.
.

Thought Caldwells tactics were poor at best. You need to fight for everything and they just backed off into defensive formation.

One of the worst Chesterfield teams I have seen for years, fans give their all – felt they didn’t get a deal back.

They have had a very **** season, No backing from the board and appointing Gary Caldwell who won promotion with the best team in the league last year, someone not use to managing a average/poor team

The players didn’t really seem to give much effort however I think the goalkeeper played well for them just made a few silly mistakes

Certainly the worst Chesterfield team i have seen, and i have seen a few,but seen some excellent Spireite teams as well.
What has happened to Ched Evans, also one or two other regular first team players left in January and keeper Tommy Lee has been out all season.

That must be the worst side I have seen at Glanford Park in years. How we allowed them the consolation of a goal I will never know. Paddy seemed off the pace today unusually for him – should have been subbed earlier.

I will try to find out about Ched 2moro. Stuckmann !! – no idea why they signed him other than cost because he has cost them since his arrival.

Their recruitment was weak, lost Doyle, Clucas and Roberts little came in.

5-0 would have been a fair score.

Pretty sure ched was injured for the 3rd time this season

Thanks to them for pointing out the blindingly obvious, now let me do the same

Just over 4k home fans for a club 4th in the league still with an outside chance of automatic promotion is f**king diabolical

Don't count chickens yet, if this decline carries on 4K will be a good crowd next season
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.
