Todays Programme sums up the attitude

I handed over the 3 quid to pay what I thought was the normal price for the programme only to be told its £4 today
Nearly asked for my my money back and the seller said a lot had
Whoever thought that it was a clever idea to add a £1 to the price because of the Semi-final insert in the climate that the club is viewed by the majority of fans is seriously deluded
Its not the £1 increase thats the problem its the principle behind it
Its as though they have sat down rubbed their hands together and said lets take the suc kers for more money and they will pay it because it has a semi final souvenir in it
I may be mistaken but in the advertising of the programme for todays match i did not see a mention that it would cost an extra £1 because of the extra content
I wonder if Carson will publish how many extra programmes or not were sold today?

Agreed a very poor decision, to be charged extra to remember the good times is a real insult

The memories of that day have been tainted by recent goings on as it is.

Did you ask for your money back out of principle or just wear it? Unfortunately if you wore it, they will continue to mug you off at every opportunity.

As I posted in an earlier thread Moondag the only reason the Deedahs might have realised that we actually played in an FA Cup S Final 20 years ago is because the replay was played at Swillsborough

See the 3rd paragraph of my post and I agree because I wanted a Souvenir of when we had a club with an achievement to be proud of I paid the extra quid but have vented my feelings on the matter on this board
Not that the deedahs will be bothered anyway because they have suceeded with their marketing ploy becaus they
have my extra quid

Apologies Whittman, my post wasn't meant as a negative on yourself. I was at Old Trafford with fantastic memories and am no way criticising your decision to buy the souvenir, after all we'll never experience it again. Simply making the point that these lot are taking the pi$$ big time and we, collectively, are letting them get away with it.

Fair enough Valley Blues we are all frustrated at the way the club is being run with it seems not a lot being done about it
All I will add is You can always tell a deedah but you cannot tell him owt
