Just remind me, where did Facebook feature on Alnassar, Bingham, Fitzgerald, Rafflegate, Sutcliffe, CFCFDS, trading performance of the business over the past 4 years, etc, need I go on?

Does it reflect badly on Bob's Board or Ashley Carson that he finds Facebook a more suitable platform to converse with fans?

In Bingham and Alnassar's case I bet next to none of them are aware that either exist. And they can thank the hard working members of bobs board who exposed them for that. Because if they had of heard of Alnassar or Bingham then this club would really have been in the gutter by that point.

Who has threatened legal action?

AC for seemingly allowing the suggestion that his trip to Thailand may have involved some club business.

He didn't reply when I asked upon what grounds did he have to take such action and I've not heard from him since.

I didn't think we'd a pot to urine in, but it's becoming increasingly apparent to me that those running the club don't hesitate to employ the services of lawyers, should anyone question them.... A real indication of how supporters are viewed/valued by the current regime as it seems all criticism needs be quashed. Maybe Putin's Russia has a new enclave on Sheffield Road!

How is he getting on investigating the 11+ allegations which we made him aware of on 25/01/17 concerning CFCFDS and current/former employees of CFC?

Now I have just had a thought, perhaps he could post an update on Facebook covering the same?

I'd suggest the only person who actually employs the lawyer resides in Apperknowle.

We know the Development School employed a firm of solicitors, because Sutcliffe didn't pay them!

I wasn't referring to the use of a solicitor by the DS,rather by certain individuals on the other side of the road.

Just for balance, I get why Carson is doing this.

He knows the ST sales and gates are likely to be significantly lower.

He knows the owner no longer wishes to put his hand in his pocket.

He knows he will get a better reception on the tightly moderated FB
He also knows that if CFC are to stand a chance of being cash neutral he needs bums on seats.

To achieve that after 2 disaterous seasons, he really needs to be seen to "be doing something" otherwise Caldwell will have a budget to rival Accrington Stanley.

Whilst they've got a better manager??????

Surely all folk did was add the fact that 'FBT' have headquarters in Thailand, to the fact that Hegarty himself was quoted saying there'd be dialogue in Thailand, to the fact Carson's over there in Thailand.

So legal action?

Seems a bit of a sledgehammer to crack the nut of a little messageboard supposition.

Maybe Ashley's feeling the pressure.

The speculation and associated threat was before we heard the Hegarty quote.

The threat "I'm trying to avoid legal action" arose because I asked Ashley to set the record straight himself on here.

This is because I'm no longer prepared to be his go between on here, when he still won't properly address the big issue of the significant increase in costs
from 2012 that he seeks to present as being the regular ongoing costs of running the business from the Proact.

He's had enough of being shot down on here, I've had enough of him dodging what I think is the main issue

Okay, thanks, 'M'.

As for the 'Facebook' page perhaps better known as 'Lilley Land', aren't we allocating it attention it simply doesn't merit? Publicising a platform populated by, what; a couple of dozen at best?

Well, other than 'BB' members visiting for novelty value, of course.

Y'see in my experience three types of folk frequent such forums: those demonstrating a misguided loyalty or genuinely ignorant of the truth, those who believe allying themselves to authority renders them somehow superior to others, or those pursuing a position at the Club through shameless sycophancy.

Hey, it wouldn't be the first time, would it.

My guess is that any credible observer seeking mature, intelligent and reasonably well informed comment would always look towards 'Bob's Board'.

Indeed I see Carson's refusal to discuss issues on here as confirmation of that.

The group is always good for a laugh!

Just a Thought, We are all aware that there are / were at least 19 contracts due for renewal at the end of this season, We are also all aware that it isn't an easy task sorting contracts / Fees / wages out and no matter what everybody's personal feelings were for Chris Turner it is well stated and accepted that he was extremely good at this.
We are all aware that it takes a person of experience to do this job,
My question is this, At the moment we do not have anyone whatsoever who is capable of or experienced enough to be doing that job, So Who is going to do it?

Since when has it been accepted by everyone that Chris Turner was very good at sorting wages and contracts out?

I'd say that contracts that mean runs to cup finals incur a loss are not that great and that it maybe under the remit of sorting contracts out to know when players are allowed to play or not!

In the light of Katie Hopkins getting a legal bill in the region of 25k for libel after one offensive tweet, I think some of you should watch what you say. If you put something on a web board it's in public. You could get sued if you suggest someone has done something they did not do.

Well why don't we bring someone in from Sheffield who can cost the club millions in commissions and trigger new deals because they can't be bothered to keep track on contract details. He fills all the criteria, after all it's only cfc going down the tube.

As a CEO I would have thought a replacement for that function would have been sourced in view of the imminent and urgent nature of the time scale.

You mean to say if I post on there that Ashley is awesome, and thanks for the awesome updates and I feel so lucky to have an awesome chairman that has awesome rapport with the fans, and just amazed by the total awesomeness - I could get sued if it's found out later that none of it was true? :o
It's not the despair. I can take the despair. It's the hope I can't stand.
