His first one was 12 years earlier in 1949 against New Zealand and even the Aussie commentator today on TMS mentioned that it looked as though Jackson suffered from playing for the wrong county in Derbyshire and coming from a working class background.
He also mentioned les took over 1700 first class wickets at an average of around 17

🤣
You really do have an incredible chip on your shoulder. Do you think Derbyshire have suffered huge injustices throughout time.
I would say give it a break but your entertainment value is second to none.
If I ever met you I’d actually buy you a drink. 🍺

Who were the England opening bowlers around that time? Fred Trueman (Yorks, WC background?) and Brian Statham (Lancs, WC background?)? If they were fit who were going to displace them?

With this in mind why don’t both teams agree to say a 10 over game so we can get a result. Probably what’s going to happen is one team bats their overs then the match will be abandoned 🤬

Bump another example this morning I am afraid of a stopper not quite up to the task of being a top class wicketkeeper for England
Time for Foakes to regain the gloves I think

And who would you drop? Bairstow is one of the top 3 batsman in England. The only other option is dropping one of the openers and Bairstow opening.
Let’s not forget Bairstows brilliant catch in the first innings.

That said how you work the team to get Foakes in I’ve no idea. I don’t like the idea of Bairstow opening. Think it wastes his batting.

Let's not forget we've actually gone into this match with 3 wicketkeepers in the XI.

I think the rain has saved Derbyshire. Revis is just getting his eye in 😄
Apart from a great run out. That was dog dirt from Yorkshire today.
