So Chris Turner not in attendance at the AGM because of work commitments mmmm

I suppose one cannot have it both ways. Listening to CT speak is like a special form of mind-numbing torture, but knowing that he gets to go and play outside whilst the grown-ups talk about how they're going to sort his mess out is just plain wrong.

He is only the Director of Football I suppose. Nothing much of interest to be gleaned at his employers' AGM?

Ashley - you still need to sort this issue out. Yet another thing that you can't just pretend will go away.

Tommy Lee hasn't been coming in last few weeks, manager's idea. Will come back refreshed, and won't play again this season.

I assumed that he wasn't after seeing some social media post of his missus (I think) beside a pool on holiday.

As for Turner's absence, it can only be a good thing. He should leave this stuff to the grown ups.

The AGM is to discuss and sign off the previous trading years accounts, a full year in which CT was CEO (in title at least!) as a current employee of the club still, 100% he should have been there tonight.

One club made a firm approach for Ched says AC. Valuation was the sticking point. I believe that club was Bradford, AC hasn't confirmed.

AC admits CT could have made it tonight. But he's not part of decision making team at the club now. AC took decision not to have CT here.

Council investigation into 'rafflegate' has concluded. Joint statement from council and police expected soon. AC won't preempt outcome.

Oldham is the club that has employed Kevin Fitzgerald, who departed Chesterfield in the wake of rafflegate.

It was a disgrace CT not being there, a lot of the questions were entirely relevant to him and his time as CEO, btw I was the one who said this wouldn't have been allowed at DAs Casino buisness. Sorry AC but Turner not being there, particularly if told to stay away, is shameful.

The truth is out there.

Sadly nobody at CFC seems to have found it yet.

CT must have a very full and busy diary to have something work related that long ago that meant he couldn't cancel or rearrange to attend an important AGM
I imagine any questions on the DC will be deflected as no one in attendance to answer questions

Someone send him a diary

Completely expected though,

A couple of us had a discussion this morning and agreed CT was not likely to be there.

So why state it was work commitments or is it technically correct as his employer told him to stay away?

And, if he's not part of the decision making team, why did GC say when asked who brought the players in, him or CT, he said it was a team effort. Or something like that anyway. And how can a Director of Football not be involved in making decisions - Sounds like a rate job, no responsibility at all?
