Short term easy long term pain. Oh The romance of rich owner with perceived ambition.

Some time down the line said fan will hope to get some or all of his money back.

Simply boom or bust economics on less revenue streams than us.

CT will take comfort in that, totally ignoring the fact their turnover was £3.7M.

I'm looking forward to the AGM.

More than £800K spent on the stadium contributed to the loss? Got full planning permission at the beginning of the year but can't find any other news of progress. Probably hoping get some of the £25M development costs back in EU funding

Yes, we can expect to hear him bring this up as an example of how not to run a football club

I can't believe they are building a new ground. Glanford park is more than adequate for 3,000 home fans.

They aren't spending a lot on wages then based on that

According to their press release, total players' wage bill was £2.5M.

He won't get his money back as easily as Allen, Swann's tends to put his cash into shares, as otherwise the club would be breaching salary cap rules.

£6m from promotion to championship should help if he pulls that off

There will be another £3M loss this season to cover first. Plus they have to see off Sheff Yoo and Bolton.

I wonder how they are presenting their figures.

We stated £1.9M but that is only basic, then add £2.4M when bonuses are added, but it is actually £2.9M once NI has been added

Hopefully their £2.5M is basic, otherwise we aren't getting great value compared to them

That was last season wasn't it?
I think we can call that a fact, and the subject of many a post on here. And we still we pay for Ebanks Blake.

We only averaged around 3000 for quite a few seasons before our move didn't we?
