I've just been told re the Council's investigation into Rafflegate that they have recently interviewed Nick Johnson

An update, following the Council's visit to see Nick the club have today chased the Council to see if the matter will soon be concluded.

The Council have responded to say they need to make more enquiries but are equally keen to conclude matters as soon as possible after liaising with the police.

Is AC trying to clear the decks for Turner prior to him taking his place in the hierarchy of a new regime? If so, good luck to him.

I think if we add this statement to CT's subsequent statement that he knew nothing, and the fact that Fitzgerald has been given a job across the road, and the fact that the matter remains under investigation at CBC, we have a straight forward police matter. The crucial factor of course is whether he was asked to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Confirmation of his job across the road as Group Business Development Manager

It's good to know he's managed to get a job and not be a burden to the state.

Haha. That's real zero tolerance. My guess is that Ashley will claim at the agm that nobody told him. We need an update on how the investigation is going. Even the bare facts render Ashley Carson's claim to be a fit and proper director a farce.

Wow, that summary!

Seems we were his longest employment at 1 year 6 months (1 year 9 months if you include his notice period too).

2 different job titles with us, 7 months with one then 1.5 years with other. I thought it was quite interesting how long his other jobs were for. And no mention of Stoke, although he wasn't there long apparently

What I find interesting is that a man of Rodney Walker's social standing has taken both Fitzgerald & Sutcliffe under his wing, it's all very bizarre.

Given some of the comments from the top table about both at the fans forum, presumably 'Due Diligence' are not words in his vocab, either?!

I doubt if he has taken historical DC debts or CCJ's under his wing.

He must have mucky pictures on a few peoples it's that cv to keep getting jobs in football!

Mind you football clubs have hardly got a good rep over the years for recruiting good people in any department (prob include myself there at times before anyone chips in)!
