Moondog,

Regarding the outstanding action points, have either AC or CT been in touch since the forum on the 9th?

No, the commitments given remain outstanding

It was confirmed that Fitzgerald had received 3 months’ severance pay following his dismissal from the club.

CFC representatives were also asked to confirm two rumours. The first one, that Fitzgerald was working for Blackpool FC, which was incorrect. The second rumour was that Fitzgerald was working for FBT (the shirt manufacturer) who have linked up with Liam Sutcliffe, this was also denied. However after further probing, it was confirmed that Fitzgerald was working for a workwear company, called Romiro, a company under the control of Sir Rodney Walker (who also controls FBT Europe).

You could not make this up, reward what some would call as fraud with a severance pay. Then he lands a job, that at the time was associated with CFC. Amazing stuff.

Yet on the 20th July 2016 on the subject of Fitzgerald's dismissal Ashley Carson sent me a PM to say " I am happy for you to confirm there is absolutely no compensation package"

You mean to say he told you something that wasn't true?

Hahaha. They've told so many lies they can't remember what to lie about and what to tell the truth about. Pathetic.

I think if we add this statement to CT's subsequent statement that he knew nothing, and the fact that Fitzgerald has been given a job across the road, and the fact that the matter remains under investigation at CBC, we have a straight forward police matter. The crucial factor of course is whether he was asked to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Take your concerns to the police then. Anyone can report a crime.

Perhaps there's a technical difference between `a compensation package' and `three months severance pay'?

Not when the clear inference at the time was that he was sacked for gross misconduct

Quite agree Moondog...ANY payment under those circumstances is unconscionable - but perhaps it just goes to show that scapegoats usually come at a price?

It is certainly inconsistent with zero tolerance and disciplinary action promised at the time

Still, it's good to know that "Fortunately no supporters have been inconvenienced"..for as everyone knows, such fraudulent dealings have no effect on the good name of the club - and don't `inconvenience' the supporters and loyal fan base who keep it alive...!

I have chased up Ashley Carson regarding the two outstanding actions from questions asked by our
group at the meeting.

1, Chris Turner was going to provide documentary evidence that the PSG trip organised by Liam Sutcliffe was actually booked and paid for.

I've suggested if this is deemed commercially confidential as it would reveal the cost price of the trip, the documentation can be provided to me in confidence and I would confirm the booking on here.

Ashley responded by saying he'd passed on my request to Chris.

2. Ashley said he would update us as to the outcome or latest postion of the Council investigation into Rafflegate

Ashley responded to say the Council had not concluded this yet but he'd chased them up and would provide an update when he knows more.

Hi Moondog,

From the answers given by AC in the PDF document on this thread, did Ashley ever say why CFC made a "donation" to Sondico? That would be CFC paying the sponsor of the DC/IA kit provider, both of which are separate legal entities and financially independent from eachother.

I've chased again today and got a final answer from AC on the PSG trip.

He's requested proof of booking but this hasn't been forthcoming despite him making several requests

He has also also checked the Development Centre bank account and no payment was made from there.

He doesn't disagree that it's therefore fair to conclude that the trip was never booked.

There is no update as to the Council's position following Rafflegate

Let me get this right.

The players from the DC were asked to pay their first instalment to secure their place on the PSG trip by paying the deposit so that the trip could be booked?
The trip wasn't booked?
The second & third payments were made and the parents had to fight for their money to be returned?
In fact, wasn't we told that CT & AC loaned money to the DC to pay the parents back?

Am I right in thinking that there is a deception here if proof can't be supplied that the trip was actually booked with a deposit?

I'm getting more and more worried with all of this.

I reckon you ought to start a new thread with this stuff.

Another point where our sources have been proved to be, yet again, 100% correct.
