There will be no planned protests of consequence. Anything that happens will depend on what is happening on the pitch. There may be impromptu chants against the CFC board if things are going really badly and no meeting is going to stop that.

And if that second paragraph is aimed at me then you are plain wrong

No it wasn't, my friend.

I'm glad to here it. Well, good luck with the meeting.

Although they will have all the answers prepared; I'm sure they way they'll be delivered with ambiguity and will provide many contradictions, especially if Turner is involved.

Be Careful chaps. You have been called into the headmasters office but the problem is that the headmaster has left you talking to his deputies. Remember what happened to the Wednesdayites? Didn't they get banned at one point?
They're going to try and manipulate you and use you to stop any protest from happening, whilst I have absolute faith in you all that they're not going to be able to pull the wool over your eyes you will be in the firing line should you not get the answers that folk want to hear.
Why have you been selected? Do the club want to shut you up? I'd edge on the side of caution if I was you.

I gather one person from each section was approached and asked to put together their own "oceans 10" if you will

If anyone gets a subsequent ban for asking a probing question, I think that'll say far more about the powers that be than any answer they give.

Dear All
As you know I no longer post directly on here, but feel I need to explain.

I obviously read messages on here from time to time and I am very aware of unrest, dissolution, negativity etc.....
I have come to the conclusion that this is because you have simply not been kept in the loop and naturally will suspect dodgy dealings and the club trying to run a secret society.

I apologise for this and want to make amends.

There is no hidden agenda, no trying to head off questions at the AGM, I simply want to be open and transparent and allow fans the opportunity to ask questions and get receive honest answers.

I can see the club currently on a downward spiral and I want to do everything I can to change this.

DA is well aware of the meeting and it has his blessing. I meet with him or talk to him every day of the week, so Chris and I are more than qualified to answer on his behalf, intact I have a direction from him to be honest and pull no punches about the challenges we are currently having to deal with.

I hope this event is a success and if so, I will hold more and expect the attendees to rotate so it not the same people attending.

Your Club needs to climb out of the depression and I really want the fans to get behind both the club and the team. I travel to every game home and away, I live and breathe Chesterfield FC so please don't question my commitment.

I look forward to next Wednesday, I have asked Chris Breeze, who oversees the Academy, John "Grow Some Balls" Croot, who I am hoping will stand up and be counted, Chris and I.

I hope this helps:

Thank you to Moondog, for helping me to set this up. Top Man with great integrity

Exactly my thoughts as well

Surely we all know what word should have been inserted if it means anything to him as he says it does

His conclusion is actually wrong too. It's some of the things that ARE known about that are cause for concern. The unknown is the, er, unknown.

1 - Convenient timing of this meeting, wouldn't you say?

2 - How long ago did you first notice the downward spiral and what steps have been taken since?

3 - As other posters have said, it's OUR club. For somebody that says they live and breathe the club, you seem distant. Could that be because of you affection for SWFC and another job you have? Hardly living and breathing the club really, is it?

4 - You really call one of your fellow board members "Grow some balls" on a public forum? Where's your respect?

So Security66...... Shall I cancel the event?? If you think we are liars and full of deceit what is the point of the fans forum?

Maybe best to keep quiet and tell you nothing !!!!

You decide, shall I hold the event or cancel it???
