The highlighted statement is absolutely correct. I was at the meeting on Wednesday and Chris' version is a much more comprehensive version of the events. NJ of course very limited to time and keeping as positive of an image of the club as he can - which is understandable

Les posted a few weeks ago on here that he had opportunities to get involved at boardroom level but declined because of fans like the ones on Bob's board,let's hope Les is a man of his word.

The biggest issue is for DA to come out and tell us what his intensions are for the future in keeping us in this division.

with all due respect to people on here... fans like Les are exactly what the club needs more of... no matter what peoples disagreements are, you are all town fans and if there were more local business men that put the same amount of money into the club that Les has over the years then we'd be slightly better off financially than we are now.

I'm as guilty as anyone of getting involved in keyboard arguments with folk when you get dragged in to discussing things you are passionate about and things get personal, but it is not the answer, people take pleasure in baiting him as well and he is without a shadow of a doubt a proper town fan.

id be more interested in reading specific suggestions that could help turn the finances around than seeing everyone argue, its occasionally amusing but only ends up going down hill.

It's difficult to make suggestions when you don't know facts or things are hidden . I see from moondogs post that AC has attempted to provide some information and I congratulate him for that but if you only provide snapshots rather than full facts it will only create more questions than answers.

Les, I would not have broken any agreement. I was not aware of any agreement. Can you please clarify exactly what was said, who said it, and when?
