That is a worrying statement. Fair play for coming out and saying it.

There's a lot more to be said, people have sat on things for far too long.

At the beginning of this year, I don't think I could have named one employee of CFC Football Development School. From April onwards, together with a few supporters on here, we have either met or spoken with most of them. Genuine, decent and hard-working individuals, many of whom were just starting out in life, wanting to put some roots down who loved their jobs and they have been treated abysmally in my opinion. Some of them WERE actually fans and had a long association with the club.

By contrast, on 04/08/16, I received a text message from Nick Johnson, one of the good guys as far as I'm concerned, who advised me that someone close to the club would like to meet with me. That meeting took place the following day at the Double Tree in Sheffield at 16:00, thankfully Nick witnessed two hours of a meeting that lasted nearly three hours.

I came away from that meeting in absolute disgust that such an individual had found "association" with our club. It was clear to me that the individual was deluded, had no understanding of how to run a business, had no respect for his customers, staff or suppliers and no respect for other people's hard-earned money.

The fools in the asylum believe this is about one disgruntled ex employee, if only that was the case. If you lot are reading this, shame on you. Over the past 8 months, supporters on here have been tipped off about potential litigation and stadium bans, again, shame on you.

If the football club are intent on moving things forward, I suggest Phil Taylor, Chris Breeze & John Croot meet with the ex employees of the development centre.

What really boils my urine in all of this is that we have decent people like Janice Kew, Jim Brown, Maureen Patrick, Colin Nellist, Nick Johnson, etc, who have to work alongside such individuals.

Who is this Les Ashmore? And why does he need protecting? Anyone know?
Last person at Town who needed bodyguards was Darren Brown!

A couple of things need clarification.
Who hired the heavies CFC or Les Ashmore?
Are they the same guys who have been seen at matches?
Who were they protecting at the matches Les Asmore or DA and CT?
What's he done that requires protection?

Old geezer.

Former owner of Club Taxis (now funnily enough seemingly on the way to being ruined by Deedahs).

No doubt Jim, as a CFC stalwart will be put out to pasture, to,replaced by one of the deedah sycophants.

Ps - thank you

Nearly been hit by two City Cars drivers this week alone whilst driving. One was in the work car park as he reversed far too quickly and then looked at me as it was my fault that he nearly reversed into me! Other one narrowly missed the front of my car cutting across my lane on Morrisons roundabout.

I might be wrong (it happens occasionally) but I'm assuming lots of the drivers are recent imports to the town.

Where's the court jester, I'd love to hear his invaluable input given his previous stance on Chris "run rings" Turner.

I can't wait for him to post. It will be a thing of absolute beauty.
A new hope.

On the issue of Jim Brown, a genuine CFC legend on many levels, Ashley Carson stated how valuable he is to the Club and they're seeking to retain him despite approaching retirement age.

Indeed 'Spireitenag', Nige Goodlad, suggested that if anyone deserved a testimonial it was Jim, feelings echoed by all fans present.

All I can say is we'll judge actions rather than words.

Chesterfield FC needs the likes of Jim Brown now as much as in the past.
Never underestimate the stupidity of people

He's the only goalie I've seen score a goal, when was that, I've forgotten

I've been trying to think of something positive to say. But it's not there.
The facts are there aren't many positives around at the moment.
I've literally been around this club for 32 years. I've watched CFC go from good, to bad, to better, to now, worse.
It is clear things need to change.
If those in charge see this too, and don't change it, the only question you need to ask, is why?
Why have a massive amount of mistakes been shoddily covered up?
Why has there been no apology to the fans for numerous ongoing questions and unresolved issues?
Why has a poor judge of character been allowed such an important position within the club?
Why is the club leaking money?
Why isn't someone coming forward with a plan to get things back on track?
Why has an incompetent ass-ociate and accomplished liar been allowed free reign of hard working parents money and young boys dreams, only to mess it all up in spectacular fashion?
Why has the catastrophic negative knock on effect of the reputation of CFC youth level and top to bottom running been ignored?
And why or even how is it possible that one Ex employee is to blame for all of that?
At this point, using outside logic, you'd have to say there MUST be something in it for someone.

So what we need to be asking Dave Allen is, what is in it for him?
Why keep bad staff who f**k up so much, who lie, who have treated fans, families of ex players, parents, players, trialists, young boys, staff and students like irrelevant morons?

CURRENT employees that have dragged the name of this club into the gutter?
WHY? It makes no sense, and it needs sorting out, asap.

Oh and if the others are willing, I'll meet with the directors for a little chat. No problem.

Since city bought the ashmores out, theyre slowly doing away with owner drivers, and bringing their own drivers in from Sheffield. Many of whom obvious do not know the area and rely on sat navs to get you home.

Are we to assume the ST "get home for free" scheme is now defunct?
