Has the Trust had any in-put towards anniversary celebrations?

Maybe they have, I dunno, but surely it should be folk asking 'What can I do for CFC?' running them rather than those asking 'What can CFC do for me?'.
Never underestimate the stupidity of people

Good question but surely the squad wouldn't be risked mid season?

Would a "European Great" send a decent team midweek to another country for a friendly?

And would a midweek game attract the same attendance?

Pre season would seem the obvious time.

150th "celebrations" are due to last the full season, which may include next pre season as well.....
