The argument put forward was: it's almost impossible to breakdown these types of teams that sit back and defend (Russia, Wales, Slovakia, no doubt Iceland) so let's not get at England for their inept performances against third world garbage.......Germany blew that out of the water in 8 minutes, now 2-0 up.....and missed a pen. Thanks for the stats.

It's about opinions, mate, not being 'sad' or 'fickle'; i think our performances haven't been good enough against such opposition, you obviously think the opposite.

Exactly. For a guy who went on about us having no chance at this tournament, he doesn't half love to criticise the team when we don't get the win. Maybe you need to lower your expectations misnomer? 👍🏽

Sort of my point. We are as crap as the likes of Wales, Slovakia, and Russia. We can play the ball around at the back and in midfield, against mediocre teams who are happy to ket us do that and set up accordingly to counter attack us, but we have no penetration or innovation in the final third. Just my observations and personal views...Hopefully not too sad or fickle.

I find it very odd that people cannot accept someone else's viewpoint just because it has negative connotations.

This is football, are you new to it? This is why we have pundits in tv programmes who offer their opinions, just like Bilic who has also been similarly negative about England, yet a certain poster has actually put him forward as potentially Englands next manager.....rather ironic.

I cant remember Bilic ever posting anything up about how one team can score a goal against a team that another couldn't.
