Maybe ask if Wilson plans to stay on as boss/Morgan as #2, might be able to guess something with how Morgan responds.

A bit late if there's chance could you ask:-
With regards to the high proportion of red cards do you think we have fallen foul to inconsistancy from officals
Derbyshire is Derbyshire
Yorkshire is Yorkshire

Never the twain shall meet.

They'd say yes to that as would everyone involved in every football team from Land's End to John O'Groats!

Yes but if every club from Lands End to the top of Jockoland had had such a high proportion of players sent off it would be an average proportion

Bolton and us the most in FL it seems with 8. I didn't think we'd had so many.

Did they know who he was?

There was a discussion regarding full backs (lack of) and the seeming unwillingness to play Humphreys at left back. MC admitted he lost his pace and would be a target for opposition, they see him now as more as an asset the the squad rather than a squad player but would still do a job in CM if required. They said he's an absolute model pro, still looks after himself, still trains hard and is a real talisman to the younger players.

I took the opportunity to ask mark about Liam graham, his appearance under another name for the reserves And the decision to send him out on loan, and the timing of it. He said he had no idea how or who brought him tot the club but he did he trained well and performed OK in the reserves but they didn't fell he could make the step up to the first team. He did he doesn't know about any issues regarding his registration nor does he want to, he deals with the players he has, that's that. When it got to the time we did need a Right back, they didn't fell him ready to chuck him in t the deep end and it could have ended his career had he come in, had a nightmare and got ripped to shreds buy the fans. They were trying hard to get him out on loan for a while to see how he did but it's hard to move a player out on loan with little/no experience in English football at the age of 26. He is still a squad member and like all other players out on loan is being monitored, will be back for preseason and given the chance to show what he can do and prove himself.

My take on the night, having witnessed the Paul cook show at the previous ones, is that both men are realists, don't try to offer up rallying calls Nd didn't turn up with the the intention of it being the mark crossley and Chris Morgan show. Both were frank aNd honest within reason, and some comments regarding certain players (past or present) or clubs etc I didn't post as they were discussions between like minded football fans and ex players. Neither were overly critical, not broken anyones trust but did try to be honest and open when answering most questions.

chris seems to have a real genuine limitless passion for football, he spoke bout being in the dressing room, talking tactics, bout kicking opponents, about still being hungry for success and wanting to succeed as a person, too. Something he feels is missing in a lot of young footballers he's dealt with.

Really. Is he under a contract beyond this season? I was hoping this nonsense would be behind us by then.

That's utterly meaningless as he's never going to play but at the same time it's bewildering news.

Little chance of that. He prefers the 'International Man of Mystery' routine.
