at Grimes and Banks ages (34 & 32 respectively), You'd imagine they'd be looking for and will probably get 2 year deals somewhere, maybe lower L2 or top end NL so even offering them 1 year extensions might not get them to stay?


With so many players out of contact currently involved in the match day squad, I fear the season may now peter out to 'what could have been' as players are looking elsewhere for their next contract and just 'going through the motions' here (can't really say I blame them, either to be honest).

If all our players were fit I think Grimes would be back up for the left hand side. You would imagine Grimes himself will be looking for more than a year and will easily get it at a NL club.

Banks again I would expect to mainly feature from the bench, but he does offer something different to the other players in the front 4

I'd be surprised if the club weren't exploring a contract extension for Liam Mandeville. He's at the top of his game, proved how valuable he is and looks completely at ease at this level.
