Well the quote that Liam Sutcliffe has been appointed 'Head of Youth Recruitment at the club' certainly seems to indicate that he is indeed a paid employee.

Not necessarily - it's simply a title which means he could have two jobs and you could be right.

If the development centre announced is in fact a new start up business and independent of cfc in all but association does that mean that CT other venture is to close or remain.
God I hate this league.

This is shameful. It's a bludddy good idea that just needed some start up cash and good management.

The impression I'm getting is that deposits taken for trips from parents are used to pay aged debt. Solvency is retained by organising new trips - a recipe for disaster.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Full amount not deposits, hard to imagine anyone would want to stump up for a future trip

If he isn't a paid employee then why was he on the pitch at Wembley at the JPT a few years ago dressed head to toe in CFC gear?

Until about 6 months ago my lad was a member of the DC and went on the first tour to Spain. Let me be kind and say that the trip was a little disappointing and that I am so glad I made the call to have a long weekend over there and join them.

I remember you posting. Your lad was at Rotherham when they closed their development centres.

I get the same, will look at correcting, in the meantime I note the U21 development side did well only losing 2-0 to Staveley on friday night with only 9 players....

Have none of the new international recruits received clearance to play?

It seems so, all 18 of them as announced as arriving in the match programme from 3 weeks ago as well as the two from Giss about 6/7 weeks ago. It seems no one able to step up and fill the void from the U19's too. I bet whoever was the manager wasn't very happy.

Let's hope they have better luck tonight as they entertain Carlton Town 7.45pm ko @ Staveley

you can see why it's "the envy of other clubs in this country and overseas"

As it happens the first team need a right back for Saturday
