tales about sexual prowess and giggling about rude words?

Just.. what? Stop talking out your backside please. I barely do this any more, and even if I did, why would that affect my previous comment towards the ever-whinging DTP? They're two different subjects.

We were sat right in front of the pen shout, definite contact so a stonewall penalty.

Same view from myself, absolute stonewall penalty.
The tackle on Banks from O'Brien was as clear a red as you are likely to see. Absolutely shocking lunge, about a second too late and a foot too high.

Mom?? Difficult one for me yesterday. Second half it was O'Neill. He also played a big part in our goal winning the ball and then moving it quickly. However first half he was poor, a real game of two halves for him. I thought both CH's had decent games overall and Novak, again, worked very hard on his own upfront. Probably O'Neill for me on his second half, but no one particularly stood out.

Massive pleasing point was the transformation in the second half. No change in personnel, no noticeable change in set up. It just appeared DW did what you expect from a decent manager, chucked the hairdryer about a bit and let the players know exactly what he expected second half.

Game of two halfs or what! No urgency, no tackles and totally lacklustre first half. I thought Hird saved us from being more down with a couple of last ditch tackles to be fair.
Second half saw much more purpose, more attacking intent and we looked a threat from then on. Bang on substitution by Danny and hey presto goal....
All in all a fair result and given others today a pretty significant point earned too! Town choirs rendition of sing when your fishing was bewildering but not as bewildering as singing 'Gerbil' Campbell Ryce....

YOU HAVE TO JUDGE THE GAME AS IT UNFOLDED AND THE CHARCTERISTICS OF OUR SQUAD ON THE DAY.

We simply had to apply ourselves defensvely due to Scunny having a real go at us initially. Yes it appeared that we were off the pce a little to start with but eventually we started to get our share of attacking play. When you see O'Shea putting tackles in and winning the ball I'd say that sums us up perfectly. Scunny nulified Boly with 2 men on him whenever he got near the ball and they worked very hard to close us down in that first half. Second half they tired and where slow to react to it, as soon as they brought on the subs it was backs against the wall again for us. First game that John showed some of his class imo. Square pegs in round holes again very obvious with O'niel in at fullback and it showed.

Considering we were the away team and their form I would say that was a good performance and Sam Hird my MOTM again.

God I hate this league.

just looking at the highlights for the first time, and the thing that immediately stands out to me is the reluctance of Jayo to shoot when he's in an excellent position.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

O'niel and Jay were really poor in the 1st half, Connor had one could effort saved but struggled. The 2nd half was really good Jay,Liam & Ollie all stepped up their games in the 2nd half.Bolly was aweful all afternoon and needs to be rested on the bench. Hird was my motm with cracking displays from Liddle and Novak they are class.Good point which needs to be followed by at least 4pts in the next 2 games to take the pressure off.

Is it more the case that Gboly is now being marked out of the game by 2 opponents as our main threat?

Well he has but he could hardly have got worse. I'll be kind and say he started 'slowly' with us.

Happy with the point so not complaining. Just wonder why we were so bad first half. Team should be up for it from minute one, not requiring a ballocking at half time. Don't know who's to blame for starting slowly but I never understand why it happens. Its not a Danny thing, we had same under Cook from time to time.

How does tha know that that is the case re the half time a severe dressing down ??

I'll explain it again - we were allowed very little room and time in that first half. They moved the ball about exceedingly quickly with purpose. It was pass and move giving us very little chance of getting tackles in. They have a set way of playing and they put you under loads of pressure.
God I hate this league.

DW said in his post match interview on Peak to Pete Farries that "words were exchanged at half time" which suggests it was a little heated in the dressing room after the first half performance!

they didn't have to for their goal. Yet another shambles. Great credit due for the comeback though.

You could tell in the tone in which he said it that it obviously kicked off and he let them have it.

I hope he's made a mental note to get his 'words' in BEFORE the game kicks off next Saturday.

No reason it wouldnt....its not that clever! It just sees letters in a particular order and changes them to something else no matter where it finds them.
