Group Saver to Manchester, then Oldham separately presumably the best way?

Yeah mate. Probably best off getting tram or taxi to Oldham as the train station is closed. Metrolink runs from Shudehill/Victoria every 12 mins up there if you're having a few in Manchester around Printworks/ Northern Quarter beforehand.

Was about £12 in a taxi last year between 5 of us or trams about £3 but takes longer. Think we got off at Westwood metrolink stop last year, about a 15 min walk to ground and few boozers on way too.

Imagine a few will be up on the train anyway with it being relatively cheap

This is where living in Manchester pays off :sunglasses

Actually, almost every aspect is better, bar the Mancs.

Better than my 25 min tram ride from W. Didsbury, but I can still live with that.

Yeah, stop your car & put your handbrake on before exiting the vehicle.

(In all seriousness don't bother with the one at the ground if you want to get home the same day)

Brewers fayre car park behind what was the home end but what I believe is the away end this year. £5 charge redeemable against drinks (well it was last season) plus a 2 minute stroll to the ground and an easy away onto the M62....
