It's a non story (over and above 'local business has cash flow problems sensation') unless CFC answers questions, and it's certainly out of bounds for Podcasters who have talked themselves off DA's Christmas card list but are desperate for a reprieve.

CT and his rotweiler will try to bluff this out. No interviews.

Your right of course, let it die down and move on.
What I don't understand, is why the AC/DA protect/still employ CT.
He's not exactly the most trust worthy of people, nor is he the most difficult person to hoodwink, as the Al Nasser and Bingham/Dev centre episodes show.

He's not the greatest with figures, doesn't really get the concept of monthly balance sheets and adjusting costs where possible to match cash flow. As the long running saga with Higdon demonstrates, and signing Gardner in January while halfway through a £1,000,000 loss making season?

His strength in negotiating clauses in contracts costs the club money, as with the wembley bonus saga.

He's presided over a bewildering escalation of debt to the point where the business is worth just over £1,000,000 against debts. Indeed if it carries on the way it has, next season would see the debts increase to the point where the balance sheet has no value. Technically insolvent or getting very close to it.

Somewhat exactly does he bring to the table for them to display this degree of loyalty when "Ma" Hubbard and Carol W were shown the door on the back of a much better set of financial, figures?
A new hope.

Hi RGS

you are doing some good work.

Could you please give me a one word answer to the following question?

Are DT reporters being refused access to CT?

Thanks. This then becomes intriguing.

By my logic, the only possible reason that the story keeps getting pulled is that the CFC Media Department is threatening the DT.

The key question of course is whether CFC finances are adversely affected by PPP. Was that asked?

RGS did say a few pages back that it missed one weeks edition due to changes at the papers end not CFC causing any issues. A change at the top etc put a delay on it.

Nothing in the paper this week (no sinister reason, certainly nothing to do with the club - our ed left and acting head needs to be fully appraised of the issue)

Personally don't see any reason why what has been written and prepared won't come out in the next week.

The editor of the DT was summoned to a meeting with CT about three weeks ago and told in no uncertain terms "Print anything that is not 100% true fact and you are likely to face legal repercussions and a complete ban from the Proact and access to its staff".

Fair enough. CFC has rights.
Let's have the facts on the table then.

with this in mind, can the DT also confirm if DB has been in direct contact with the same legal threat?

The worst bit is the quote of 'envy of other clubs in the country' by a spokesman (when it is regarded as a joke by many)

I wonder what our friend, Brockwell Spireite makes to the fact that Derbyshire Police have received zero such complaints of harassment?

Complete bunkum to blame the repayment to parents for the PSG trip.

The figure declared to companies house of £77k liabilities is for the previous years financial trading.

The repayment figure for the trip is I believe about £23k and has not yet been refunded anyway.

I would expect the next account returns to show liabilities in excess of £100k.

Basically it would appear that the DC/PPP is unable to meet its debts and therefore insolvent.

lol that that was worth waiting for! I've given up up with turnipe and co! CFC will hopefully still be around once the Sheffield Mafia have gone. Hopefully Turnipe won't be allowed to bankrupt the club although he is making a decent go at it. I admit I don't understand all this PPP stuff in any detail but it all sounds rather odd to me. Hopefully Turnipe will go to Sunderland Rotherscum or whoever wants him this week sooner rather than later. Mr Mercury has said for ages we need him as far away from this club as possible and I for one agree. I think Turnipe is in it up to his neck and the Sheffield Assay Rotweliller will continue to defend the indefensible.

Start up costs are also blamed but this is year three, not withstanding a new company has been formed since

'Liam Sutcliffe is not and never has been an employee of Chesterfield Football'?

Hold on - he's listed on the official CFC site as 'Head of Academy Recruitment'!

'I brought a player up and got talking to Liam in the lobby and he wanted to pick my brains. One thing led to another and he asked me to try and help bring in international players.'?

But didn't Turner himself state that Bingham was introduced to the Club by a fan?

'Mr Bingham has claimed that club supporters inundated his family’s businesses with abusive phone calls, and that he had informed the police.'

However...'Derbyshire Police said they were unaware of any complaint from Mr Bingham'.

Besides, where did these supposed harassing fans get such phone numbers - everything listed led down blind alleys!

“I had no intention of working with Chesterfield FC...I was actually on my way out of it, It wasn’t for me.”

Says the bloke that was happy to accept an official position at Town.

Then probably best of all: 'Mr Bingham claimed he had worked with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the past and had taken over at Monza with the intention of securing sponsorship from his friends in Ferrari and Formula One.'

Two words: 'Darren' and 'Brown'.

I can't help feeling it's just another pack of lies.

The key question posed right at the beginning of all this still remains: are Chesterfield FC subsidising Turner and Sutcliffe's heavy loss making enterprise? And if not, who is?

The article is safe, I bet the DC are delighted with it, especially the two numbskulls running the show.

Sadly for them, they've apportioned blame to a rather contentious subject for many parents.
