I hope Cheds playing tonight, it wouldn't be bad if we had midfielders and widemen who create clear chances in the box, instead of the strikers having to fall back so deep and wide. I hope we play Kakay? and Brown, I'd leave Fulton out for this game and he has to find a place for Hird. Nolan and the rest have to waken up and get stuck in and stop backing off. I've gone for a 1-1- draw but if the players are up for it we could be home the 3pts we so badly need.
My team would be:-

Allison.
Hird. Evo. Anderson.

Kakay? Grimshaw.Brown,Sadiq?Donnaghue.
Ched. Fafula?

I don't like Caldwells 3 - 5 -2 I'd rather see 4-4-2.

That indeed is the problem, in which case he surely has to play Angel?
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Lot's of question marks in your side, are you picking them or not? Plus you have El Fitouri in midfield, but you are entitled to pick. As you don't like 3-5-2 show me your best 4-4-2 with the players in the squad.

Soccerbase would seem to back that up....i cant be bothered to go through his list of games to find it but his overall summary has him down as 20 starts and 1 sub appearance and suspect that is because he came on from the bench? There may be others where he was on there but didnt feature.

We can't keep blaming the midfield for Ched not scoring. If he's so great he'd be able to make chances of his own every now and then. He needs to be the one stepping up and trying to pull us out of harms way, a la Vaughan at Bury and Ladapo at Shrewsbury.

I'm with you on that. Ched is no more than a bang average League 2 striker. Not gone quite the way DA wanted has it.

A good article. You are right; we don't see them as winners because they simply don't win. The only other thing to mention is that many of us saw this coming after last seasons debacle. It doesn't make it any easier but ultimately this season is not that surprising. We have been on a downward spiral since Allen refused to gamble with the playoff side.

Bury had a cracking right winger to supply the crosses into the box, just what our strikers need. SEB looked sharp and changed the game.
