I doubt the numbers are dramatically higher than the average either from our last few seasons of struggle or from around the country.

I'm sure there was a figure of 10% bandied around before of the average number of folk who purchase a ticket but don't turn up across football in general. Given we have about 5,000ish home fans then 600 stay aways equates to about 12%.

Column: Good luck selling the club for £15m if January leaves them too weak to score enough goals to survive the drop

If we are really at the he salary cap, we are in much much bigger trouble than one could imagine. If we take previous years C & B income, say a drop of 20% of gate and season ticket from 15/16 income, then our football wage bill must be around £2.5M (and we have been told previously it's a lot less) or our income (excluding transfer fees) has dropped by around £2M.

Or....there is a bit of artistic licence from our acting CEO.

Agreed, yet again a statement from the club looks either flat out incorrect or a cause for deep concern.

I wonder if AC wishes to clarify through Moondog. Looks like we could be headed for a £3-4m operational loss this season based on this soundbite alone.

We really do have to worry if over 600 season ticket holders don't turn up. That's maybe 15% of total season ticket holders giving it a miss. This must be a first?

In monetary terms it's no use worrying this season. Many ST holders will return when and if ownership changes, the beauty of the current stay aways is that they can see the direct result of their total mismanagement of everything cfc.
God I hate this league.

What a bizarre situation we find ourselves in.

I have never known such detailed information coming out the club but have we ever been so much in the dark about what is actually going on?

If by in the dark you mean where the money is being lost, do those running the club even know ?!

I've created a salary cap thread so as not to detract from Graham's DT updates, can we move the discussion onto there

Asked Danny Wilson if the injury setbacks and complications were just down to rank bad luck.
