Wilson dangling a carrot for soon to return striker?

I hope Raglan's return will not result in Anderson not being retained.
We must keep Anderson firstly 'cos he's better than Raglan and secondly because we can't chance being forced to field a Raglan/Hird back 4 if Evo gets injured.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Anderson is here until the end of the season. Bringing CR back can only strengthen us. IMO the only attribute Andersons got is heading ability. He's very slow and his ball distribution is abysmal to say the least. Is he really that much better than CR?

Maguire is better than Raglan.
If Anderson's registration has already been secured until season end then that is reassuring.

IMO, I think his heading is suspect too. I think I could head a balloon further than he can head a football.

He's made some decent blocks from goal bound shots. So he is prepared to put his body in the way.

Find an app called purity. It doesn't stop everything, but it stops the survey style ads that are driving you crazy.

Advertising is plaguing this world and infesting everything. Discuss.

Also Anderson's heading is gash. Think E3 noticed it first of all, he gets no distance on them.

Anderson wins loads of headers and that's a fact. The problem is because he generally doesn't get any distance on them we end up immediately defending the second ball just outside our own box, which is often more dangerous than the original attack.

The timing of the jump is obviously there to win the header, it's just that he doesn't generate power. Most bog standard league 1/2 centre backs have the capacity to head it in to touch or get it well away from the box towards the half way line. The difference between and Evvo/Blathers type header and one of his is staggering. Ok he's a young kid that will fill out and get stronger in the body, but whether that will also convert to extra power in the heading is debatable.

He could also learn a lot from Sam Hird. He isn't the biggest and sometimes he just puts his body into the opposition and makes sure they don't win the header and the ball goes out for a goal kick. Anderson is at the stage where he thinks if he gets any kind of header on it, it helps and sometimes it just doesn't.

What surprises me is that Morgan was just a big hairy r.sed centre back that knew how to clear his lines, either legally or illegally and he doesn't seem to be developing him.
