Nothing in the paper this week (no sinister reason, certainly nothing to do with the club - our ed left and acting head needs to be fully appraised of the issue)

Personally don't see any reason why what has been written and prepared won't come out in the next week.

Cringeworthy and also embarrassing how long it's taken to receive answers to the questions you've asked of them. No one will ever trust this guy at our club again regardless of the carefully planned answers given at this point. Surely CT couldve come out straight away and put a stop to it all if there wasn't something to hide in the first place? Just another embarrassing episode for our invincible CEO. How has his job not become untenable by now?

you say nothing to do with the club. That's correct the development centre is separate from the club lol. Presumably turnipe and co have answered the DT questions re the Bingham farce and other concerns??

Anyone would think the DT been served with some kind of Premier League-style super-injunction

In all seriousness, presumably when (if) it does go to print, the story will not only cover The Club and The DC official take on things but also will include some of the facts uncovered by members of this very board, regarding DB's (WB et al) past.

Without that, its gonna just look like a bunch of "keyboard warriors" have hounded someone out of the club, for seemingly no apparent reason. Also, it would be worth mentioning the alleged email and phone hacking has absolutely no evidence whatsoever.

I'm sure there are people who would willingly pass on facts to anyone publicising what's happened.

RGS - Presumably, your piers realise this would be a great way to restore some faith amongst the Chesterfield FC-supporting public in your publication, particularly amidst the great work you've personally done on here recently.

I think he means its not the clubs fault/doing that's its not in this weeks.

IE - its not like the club or DB have stopped them running the story as yet....

They'll be working on a new version of where's Sammy, called Bingham Bingo. Quotes from Bingham randomly printed in the DT.

It slap needs to mention the employment of someone as international recruitment consultant, rather than just s sponsor,ie, Royal Pearl.

If it covers just sponsorship side, then why would the club carry out due diligence?
A new hope.

Note: In an attempt to keep RGS's topic vaguely tidy I've moved the conversation from last night about the DC to the going international thread.
Nothing has been deleted.

RGS. Hopefully this gets this thread back on topic for you. I think it's been working well so far, i've certainly clicked through more than i normally would. I think the extra 3 or 4 paragraphs in each article recently are making it more worthwhile a read too.

A headline worth using might be the one Chris used in the topic about parents not being refunded
