Can't see it. When he was released from jail, it was on the basis he had served his time; an appeal had already been dismissed and the referral to the CCRC was still to come.

It is still big news. You would have to be extremely naive to expect anything else. People were conned into thinking this was going to be low profile because the lack of publicity. Guess that is down to Sub judice.

Most of the evidence from the first trial will be repeated and it isn't pretty reading, no matter what this new eveidence is.

Lets hope for CFC sake its earth shattering.

A D.J., no less, gave me 4 reasons why the trial would be stopped in it's tracks, but that's not happened.

Guessing, I think maybe the coherent text message she sent containing no spelling mistakes might be the new evidence. I don't remember reading about it in the original stuff but I might be wrong.

I'm not clued up on things like this but I'm guessing we have yet to hear the defence's arguments/ evidence?

Indeed, early days yet, the new evidence may be well coming from a new witness appearing next week
