We need cover in more positions than one asap. Sadly I can't see anyone coming in. Few injuries could sabotage a decent season.

Ah Ebanks-Blake's got one of his 'illnesses' again ;-)

“It’ll be next week before we see Sylvan back on the training ground and hopefully that carrot gets dangled and he’ll take a bite of it.”

I'd substitute the carrot for a bucket of KFC and dangle it over the exit.

If we are paying him any money at all whilst he's not fit to play (not injured), nver mind the amounts being bandied around then I'd prefer it if we went for the stick approach rather than the carrot

Time for town to gamble. 150k is nothing. If he continues to have some good games where he is unplayable, then there will be more interest and a bidding war in January, even though his contract will be running down. Time to hold your nerve Mr Allen and co

Agree 100%.
The article says we would get compensation in the summer- is that right? If so, we may as well hang on; unless there is a daft figure currently on offer.

yes, as he'll be 22 by then, but seeing as we picked him up on a free at 19, I can't see us getting that much at a tribunal, depending on where he signs etc.

At least the tribunal may award us a sell on fee if he ever moved on again at a fee.

Rgs reckons we will sell and for the best part of a million so that's at least 600k plus add ons. Wonder what barnsley are actually offering

Graham says that the 3 million figure has never been ratified. Neither has his assertion that Gboly has rejected contract talks.

I know you've stood up well recently, but I can't help thinking that's towing the line a bit..either that or prempting that useless CEO we have...but why would he be in a rush to sell?
