The tackle In the first minute of the Cardiff v Brighton match on Saturday that was only given a yellow card by the referee even though the
Cardiff player was no where near the ball

On Channel 5 Saturday night it was suggested player not sent off because it was so early in the match

Memo to Gary Liddle if you want to do a fairer challenge and take the ball do it in the first minute :windup

Seriously there has got to be a real look at the consistency and /or the mentality of the referees and their decision making after that episode
and the farce at Colchester last week

DW and CM reaction to 4th official when Damaio was pole axed (85thish minute)in the centre circle was a reflection on their thoughts. One of the more polite comments being "we've just had a man pit in th f... stands for 3 f.... games for something no where near as bad"

I thought the referee had a good game to be honest, he was very lenient with both teams. Their centreback trying to intimidate him was hilarious, showed exactly the issue with football in one moment.

:rolleyes:Its the way things are and affects all sports where individuals have to make decisions everybody is different and there will never be any that see things the same way never mind getting consistency throughout. So suffer we must. :angry

Yes totally agree. A ref who used commensence, nice to see. The reaction was probably brought about due to the perceived unjustNess of the Liddle incident
