Having 3 sides of your nearest rivals ground, out numbering the home fans and winning the game.

Lies. You didn't outnumber the Mansfield fans that day.

You initially sold out your 2,400 allocation and then Haslam gave you another 1,000 in the North Stand

The attendance that day was 7,899.

http://www.stagsnet....terfield1H.html

As far as I remember you didn't sell out your whole allocation...but even if being generous we say you did 3,400 x 2 = 6,800 - a thousand less than the whole attendance.

Stags fans = 4459
Spires = 3400

It's also worth remembering you were top of the league- again spending far greater on wages than anyone else in the division by using cheating tactics in your year of shame- rightfully condemned by the whole of football- whilst we were languishing in 11th.

Our wage bill that season would have been comfortably affordable and highly unlikely to have been the highest in the division. The fact of the matter is that we, CFC, were the cheated party.

Yet Another instance of your collective self delusion. You were the cheated party - hilarious.

That wasn't what everybody else in the world thought, WS. Certainly not the FA, nor the minister for sport Kate Hoey.

And lets not forget about disconnecting the turnstiles as well as the brown envelopes.

We were the victim. Hence the perpetrator going to prison. It's not difficult to understand, even for a bible-bashing scab.

If I may.

First of all, we sold out, and indeed sold more tickets than allocated seats, hence the overspill into the derelict side of the stadium by over 100 fans.
1800 behind each goal, plus a few in the main stand and the overspill, = pushing 4000

Year of shame, yes, caused by a man who was convicted of fraud and sentenced to 4 years at her majesty's pleasure.

I understand perfectly. It wasn't the fans fault but you should never have been allowed to get promoted that year. In fact by rights you should have been relegated to the conference for bringing the game into disrepute.

Still it's all water under the bridge.. Speaking of which - Are you planning on putting any banners up again the next time we come?

It's not difficult to understand is it, even given your limited capability to separate fiction from reality, and dragons from dinosaurs...........but here goes

The new owner committed fraud, and was sent to prison for his crimes. He was, therefore the guilty person. By extension, the fans and the club are victims of his fraudulent activity.
A new hope.

It's not hard to understand is it "a kick in the balls" . You blatantly lied by saying you had more fans at Field Mill in 2001.

And now you're lying again. The Club were at fault... and that's why the club was punished...just not enough.

Only Cheaterfield fans think any different. In fact at the time the manager, the players and all you fans wouldn't accept that you'd done anything wrong then either... Only now is there a hint of guilt- but that is placed solely on Darren Brown

You were, and still are, culpable for dishonesty and a failure to accept your own guilt.

How many fans do your stands behind the goals hold?

yes boss im a sad phukker, it's all relative though isn't it?

my Gillingham moment was maybe surpassed a couple of years ago by a day in chesterfield (a place im quite fond of) in which i sat with my best mate and watched you batter us for 90 minutes and lose 1 nil.

you get your kicks where you can.

Absolutely it's all relative.

You see, my list of personal chesterfield highlights during my time as a spireite involve 3 league titles, 2 promotions, 2 cup wins, and 2 other wembley appearances as well as an FA cup semi final. Only 2 of those events involved our local rivals.

All of your posted highlights involve playing us,,or worse, watching our results on TV!!!

It's absolutely relative. Your an almost insignificant source of amusement, where as we are an obsession for you.
A new hope.

The fact of the matter is nothing happened on the pitch that wouldn't have without criminal operators. No advantage was gained. End of story. Our average gates were probably at least 1000 more than reported, comfortably enough to cover playing costs.

"A Kick In The Balls" It doesnt matter how many each end holds- you sold out the South Stand and then you were allocated 1,000 in the North on "advice from the police and Notts SAG". That was after the threats of that extra 1,000 going in the home stand.

There was much surprise that you weren't given a section of the West stand rather than the North Stand at the time.

At the end of the day you were allocated 3,400 tickets. No more , no less. You didn't outnumber us. If you can prove otherwise then crack on - otherwise it's end of.

Al water under the bridge.

Not necessarily the bridge that you foolishly hung that banner saying "Thank You For The 3 Points" the last time we came, but it could be.

Of,coarse it maters how many each end holds you imbecile.
If each end,,at the time had a capacity of 1900, and we over sold to,the point where we had to use the bishop st then using logic (I know it's not your strong point) then we had over 3800- probably closer to 4000 -counting the overspill, which is more than 50% of the games reported gate.

Thus, we outnumbered you.

<div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Ps. That game was before, the SAG reduced your capacity</div>

have you got photographic evidence. Or any written evidence that you recieved more than 3,400 tickets?

Just because you disconected your turnstyles and falsified gate reciepts it doesn't mean we all do.
