Out of interest does anyone know if the club outsources the payroll payment? If so who is it that processes wage payments?

No, as the reason given for the club processing the DC staff payments was because they didn't have their own payroll facility

buggger
I've got this wrong then. CFC ran 2 payrolls, 1 for CFC and 1 for the DC. CFC sent Sutcliffe the total bill and he repaid it when he'd accumulated the cash.

Somebody decided that 2 or more CFC players should be excluded from both runs and that they should be paid in cash by Sutcliffe, who was sometimes unable to pay them on time.

Is that likely to be accurate? If it is, it would be easy to speculate that nobody will have been bothered to record their tax, NI, and pension contributions accurately. So I'd better not start.

If they were on £100pw as reported there'd be none of any of those.

Doubt that would be their full pay, more likely a top up. At a guess.

Some interesting background on "Morris" Pagniello (an ally of our former "International Scouting Consultant" Dennis Bingham) and his work with several clubs in Spain.

Here's the original:

http://www.elmundo.e...44118b45ef.html

I regret that Google Translate is the best I can do:

The Mafia that took control of the Sports Club Eldense and perpetrated several polls investigated in the Court of Instruction number 1 of Elda (Alicante) had tried before with the Cultural Leonesa, according to a detailed report made by the Professional Football League And contributed to the cause, which remains secret.

In July 2014, an individual named Morris Pagniello, linked to the Italian citizens who took control of the Eldense, landed in the club of the capital of Leon "with the promise of money and players who would arrive to reinforce the staff", in a modus Operandi repeated both previously in Jumilla - by the same Pagniello - and later in Elda: promising money and players as bait to enter the chosen club.

The adventure lasted only a few months. Pagniello had arrived in León wearing a cover to be president of the Genoa International School of Soccer, allegedly linked to Genoa FC, but the relationship between the club, which plays in Serie A (this weekend lost 4-0 with Juventus) , And the school was never proven.
"They wanted to cheat the club"

Just six months later, in January of 2015, the situation exploded when the manager of the Cultural made incendiary declarations to the local means and ended the Italian adventure. "They came to try to deceive us, they wanted to cheat the club," declared Felipe Llamazares, who claimed that in fact the Italians only came to contribute 15,000 euros of the promised amounts.

The LaLiga Integrity and Security Department has now been able to confirm that the plot discovered had been in operation for at least 16 months in Spain, which had also tried in Romania and has obtained several more data that link Pagniello directly with Mafiosos who, only a year later, achieved their goals in Elda, turning a modest club about to descend to Third Division in international trending topic.

On the one hand, Morris Pagniello, classified in the report as "the first Italian to come to Spain with the promise of investment in clubs of Second B and Third Division", was subsequently convicted in the Italian scandal called Dirty Soccer: on May 19 Of 2015, about 50 people were arrested in Italy in a macro police operation against the plague of poles in the third and fourth Italian divisions.
November 2014 before the Marino

The organization of the so-called Dirty Soccer was headed by Ércole di Nicola, former player and former Italian sports director of long criminal history and related by police sources to the mafia known as Ndranghetta. Di Nicola was the head in the shadow of Nobile Capuani in the Eldense, and the link with Morris Pagniello through their detention in Dirty Soccer, for which Di Nicola has already been suspended for five years by a Sports court in Italy, makes it clear to LaLiga experts that in fact the Cultural was one of the group's first objectives in Spain.

In addition, the experts of LaLiga have contrasted that at least one encounter of the protagonists by the Cultural Leonesa during the stay in the club of Pagniello underwent strange variations in its bets by Internet. It is the Marino de Luanco-Cultural of November 23, 2014. During the game, the anti-pinch radars detect an unusual pressure on the part of the bettors, by a local victory. Pressure that does not obey to any particular fact and that, in fact, yields when in fact 1-0 is reached.

The bosses of the Primera and Segunda clubs, who in fact assisted the managers of the Eldense CD manager since the match with Barcelona B became evident, also maintains in the report submitted to the judge that another club, the Eagles, was also probed by the Mafia to be used. "We will collaborate as much as possible with Justice because it is the only way to stop this situation," says Alfredo Lorenzo, head of the department of Integrity and Security of LaLiga.

Perhaps I'm paranoid, but the fact that CFC accepted a heap of Wonga from this direction makes me feel edgy. All that money invested and nowt in return makes me wonder if they feel aggrieved. Perhaps Ashley should pay them back.

I'd imagine they are lurking in the back ground with different names and faces waiting for a chink to show itself.

If we had a Wonga loan it isn't surprising we are struggling with interest payments

On the subject of struggling with payments, Creditsafe indicates that the CCJ awarded against CFC (2001) Ltd on 31.3.2017 for £1962 appears still to be unpaid.

Another one filed in the bottom of a dark cabinet in the vain hope it will go away.

I won't make any sort of attempt to blame the office staff.

Ashley Carson the buck stops with you !

Company Secretary "MY bottom".

Forgot to add as CFC have ignored and failed to pay this CCJ within 30 days of the judgment it will now remain on the club's credit file for six years.

How do you end up in debt to a company like that?

It really is a farce.

You can always tell whose fault it really is when it's always somebody else's fault.
