Presumably, such statement will be free for public consumption?

Presumably, unless they've recovered the £8k ish owed, CFC will attend the creditors meeting?

Yes and not necessarily, although I would expect them to send a proxy.

Heyup Sammy.
Now, I'll never be Senior partner at Price Waterhouse, but I think that money is owed by CFC to the International Academy.

Booth & Co have been appointed as the official liquidator of CFC Football Development School Ltd.

A number of former members of staff and some supporters are now in a very, very difficult position.

'The liquidator is generally obliged to make returns and accounts,[7] owes fiduciary duties to the company and should investigate the causes of the company's failure and the conduct of its managers, in the wider public interest of action being taken against those engaged in commercially culpable conduct'

Any creditors who feel the directors are culpable need to make their feelings known at the creditors meeting.

"Investigate the causes of the companies failure and the conducts of its managers".. would that include Turner from previous accountability or did his departure last year completely exonerate him from the collapse?

Well this is certainly going to get very interesting not only for the directors, but for the liquidator, creditors and the insolvency service.

Some of allegations made by the ex members of staff would suggest that individuals who have contributed nothing to the output of CFCFDS have benefitted financially at the expense of creditors' funds and the viability of the business.

You lot should hang your heads in shame.

Ashley has just commented on f/b that it's most unfortunate but he's asked Turner to attend a training course on how to be a kit man in Truro on 1/3/17.

I'd be happier if it was to be a kit man for Truro!... ;)

It occurs to me that nobody has ever asked whether Turner received pay as a Director of the DC.
Presumably if it goes into liquidation, creditors are allowed to ask questions like that.

Something I've been pondering.

Surely it would've been Mark Smith's 'official' academy supposedly using the DS's facilities. So, you'd think he'd be able to confirm just how many times that happened and why their own pitches were unavailable. One or twice seems reasonable - but tens of thousands of pounds worth of times over at least two seasons?

Then would the money paying for that usage go from the Academy's account to the DS's? That might in some way explain why it's apparently so costly to run if true.

I know Carson said he'll answer no more questions on the DS but maybe it can be brought up at the next 'Fans' Forum' - is there still a place available, by the way? And when's one scheduled?

There will be a Fans forum relating to CFC by invitation. As I understand it, the Administrator has been called in now. The FBT are writing to all parents to establish who is still out of pocket. I have advised that they should be paid back in full. FBT I am assured will address any shortfall. Anything outstanding outside this will be wrapped up in the old company not associated with FBT

Sorry state. But outside my control

Ashley, whilst you're here, can you please inform us of LS current position within FBT?

Hmmmmm. A cunning plan, hatched to minimise the number of people planning to attend. The meeting isn't in Budapest is it? It won't work.

But it was in your control to tell the current DoF not to attend the recent AGM which was discussing the accounts for the year end June 2016 for which he was CEO, also knowing that a major discussion point would be that abomination over the road in which Turner was a major player. Absolutely scandalous decision which was an insult to all shareholders. Hopefully soon with the liquidation of the DC now in full swing he might be held to account by a higher authority than you.

I suspect that there will be a number of major player's in this totally disgusting affair if the truth ever really comes out.

And like I've said before whatever comes out wants investigating by the highest authority possible and the maximum penalties and punishments being meted out to anyone found guilty of wrongdoing. I genuinely hope that there are some very very worried people out there tonight dreading an early morning wake up call.

This is a farce. A complete farce. How Carson can come on here and simply trot out the line "sorry state' is quite frankly shocking. The sooner that the authorities get involved the better. Interesting that AC posts emerge after some further excellent bits from the likes of freelander; knowing what's coming perhaps? One things for sure, the 'I didn't know anything' coupled with the disappearance of our newly appointed DoF will not go unnoticed and/or tolerated

You have really have disappointed me. On 25/01/17, I personally made you aware of 11 allegations made by former members of staff employed by the DC during meetings with supporters in March & April 2016. You know how serious the allegations are, who they involve and what they amount to. When the allegations concern a number of current and ex employees of CFC, to suggest things are out of your control is quite frankly ludicrous.

Other than tickling Sutcliffe's balls to encourage him sideways, I fail to see what you have done since our meeting three weeks ago.

There's a clear reluctance to take ownership of the allegations and the reluctance extends to meeting with the ex employees to listen their allegations first-hand.

Why has CFCFDS failed, Ashley?
