Correct !

I have seen date recorded communications highlighting numerous concerns over LS and the DC that CT acknowledged receipt of and promised to investigate.

There was no further response to the complainant, although it was stated that he would reply.

Regarding the recent departure of Liam Sutcliffe and surrounding issues.

Us, the ex employees of the DC, saw that car crash of a man take parents money, (my personal money included), for tours that it's been proved were never even booked.
Money 'redistributed' in and around the DC.
Then could not pay it back, until he absolutely had to, due to one parent going to the national press.
We saw him taking young scholars parents money, then not pay them back too. Some of them are owed money from as far back as 2014.
Not a couple of hundred quid either, I'm talking a thousand pounds each, more in some cases.

We saw employees relationships, livelihoods and reputations get slandered and put at stake.
The lies that followed us all opening up about what happened were truly astounding.
I personally was sold out by someone who did not use the data protection act as any kind of law, and my details from this forum were passed onto CFC management without my consent or a court order. I won't be pursuing legal action on that bit, although I could as I have a case. I've checked.
But an apology would be nice considering I did nothing wrong.

My ex colleagues, that left their jobs in early 2016 went 3-4 months without being paid. Who else can say they'd tolerate that from an employer?
We all had a job that we loved doing. But we had to leave. We couldn't stand it anymore. You have no idea what it was like to work for him. How difficult it was.
Those coaches, decent hard working and loyal guys did everything they could before it went too far. Yes, they left and set up their own academy. But who wouldn't? Knowing you could do it better, not rip people off, make it about what it truly means to young guys who just want to play football?
The parents of the DC wanted the coaches to do it. They asked for it. They saw along with everyone else what a shambles the DC was and demand required a new approach.
That's exactly what they got.

We saw scholars treated like cattle carrying money, not young lads trying to carve a career doing what they loved.
It was truly dreadful. Non paying trialists and visitors got royal treatment over paying scholars. So wrong.
The coaches, were slagged off publicly by Chris Turner, called disloyal and all kinds of slander.
He had been grossly misinformed.
But, he was warned of this coming in December 2015, and I know that because I was the one who warned him. I still have the original email and his reply to follow up.
All Liam did was make up a lot of lies about me to tarnish my opinion and reputation, and did the same to the others too. Including the one who took my job after i left, despite the fact she left due to not being paid well or on time, he made up a lie regarding her being sacked for requesting to see scholars genitals.
And I have proof of that too!

I know there are still lots of issues to be dissected and discussed.
I know that lots of lies have been told. By management of all levels.
But on behalf of myself and my ex colleagues, thank you Mr Carson for making sure that excuse of a man is no longer part of Chesterfield FC. Your club is immediately better off without him.
I, along with the other ex employees are hoping this can be finally put to bed.

Now do me, my ex colleagues, and the loyal fans of Chesterfield FC a massive favour please?
Don't fall for any more questionable people.
The fans deserve better. The players deserve better. This club is bigger than all of you in charge. And the reason for that is directly because of its fans.
They matter.
The management in charge need to stop pretending they don't.

Absolute respect and thanks are owed to you my friend.

Without your strength, courage and determination and above all else your honesty I'm sure we wouldn't have reached this outcome.

There were tears shed and much heartache for you and many others on this journey.

I am proud to say you are now a valued friend.

Nigel.

Oh, and for the record the treatment of those boys, the scholars, the ones who's careers were ended early into scholarship as you needed to kick them out the CFC village to get the Internationals in (verified by ex members of staff who were at the meeting to decide that) will never be forgotten.
Some of them are now off the rails never to play football seriously again. Hurt, ruined and depressed. No way forward at all due to unfinished scholarship and nowhere to go mid season.
They've lost the will and desire to do what they love when they were dumped for money.
Hope you're happy with that Liam Sutcliffe.
Because it is entirely your fault.

Thanks Nige, my fellow agent 006 and three quarters :)

Seconded. One hundred percent seconded.

I'm guessing Ashley Carson is not only aware of the e-mail exchange that took place between the then DS director Turner and 'FYEO', but it's content too.

If not he must learn that content a.s.a.p.

Chris Turner must then account for ignoring the e-mail and continuing to deny issues which have now been confirmed.

None more so than publicly repeating 'They (the DS and IDS) are self-funded with no financial connection to the club'.

Another thing, too.

Given 'FYEO's' contribution I find it increasingly incongruous - and troublingly convenient - that CFC appear to be the only debtor to receive regular re-payments from Sutcliffe.

well done FYEO.
I have seen evidence sent to Chris Turner in 2013 warning him of potential problems.

So are we saying the evidence available suggests CT was/is complicit in the goings on across the road?

He was fully aware of a number of issues over the road.

These I believe were not fully investigated as there was no follow up or response to the complaint as was promised.

Judgement Day approaches for Ashley.

He can either carry on denying that Turner knew about the scandal, become a laughing stock, and prepare for more revelations to be made public

OR

he can conduct a small private enquiry by inviting people with a grievance in to see him and decide on restitution. This would be cathartic, might involve little more than a sincere apology, and put the matter to rest.

You will also recall what we were told about the former Finance & Operations Officer who raised concerns one day and never returned to work back in 2013.

There would have to be another judgement taken......on what outcomes are possible.
From what I'm reading a simple apology might well work.
I suspect what scares them is that any apology might cost them a lot of money but I don't think that is likely from a legal point of view.

I was driving down the M1 this morning, listening to our former manager on Talksport's mid morning show and I don't know for what reason, but question 6 from the fans' forum popped into my head. Here's a recap:

6) Confirmation of the last transaction date when expenditure was charged to CFC 2001 Ltd by Dales & Peaks Property Ltd relating to the rental of 16 Belmont Park, Holymoorside.

AC's answer: Our last payment was 28th May, 2015, which was when we also gave them the one months’ notice
as per the lease. The keys were handed back on 22nd June 2015. This was stopped at source out of Paul Cooks wages.
He also paid all utilities. The club does not cover or subsidise accommodation costs for managers.

Now I am pretty happy with that reply.

The position of a football manager is a pretty volatile one and some agents and landlords will consider the football industry high risk, therefore it wouldn't be unusual for a club to be named on a tenancy agreement (or act as a guarantor) as opposed to a manager or player and this was exactly the case when Cookie was living in the apartment.

Now this is where it gets interesting because I understand Dean Saunders also lived in the apartment. Saunders was appointed our manager on 13/05/15 yet AC's answer above states the last payment made by the club relating to the property was dated 28/05/15.

How very odd.

Hmmm...

Didn't one of the questions the top table refused to address last evening refer to allegations of payments via the DS?

Though I might've misheard as the questioner and Chairman were both speaking at the same time.

Yep, I wanted to ask Ashley to confirm or deny an allegation I had heard, namely that after those key dates the rent for this property continued to be paid from the DC account controlled by Sutcliffe. Why would the DC pay for the CFC Manager's apartment?. I think he'd had time to research the answer as the same question had been put to him several weeks earlier by a member of BB.

I thought Saunders had use of it but didn't like it and was put up at Casa at an additional cost to the club?
