Second successive home game scheduled for tonight has been postponed without explanation involving the international academy side, who play as Chesterfield FC U21's in the North Midlands Development League Northern Section.

My guess is the pitch hire at Eastwood hasn't been paid for

Looks like they are finally going to play again

I've a feeling that things could get very interesting at Hartlepool.

As we're re-visiting this thread, would it be fair to say two things have become abundantly apparent?

Sutcliffe has yet to follow up on any of his threats of litigation and Ashley Carson has washed his hands of any issues surrounding this enterprise despite all but admitting no trips were actually booked?

Intended or not, Allen's AGM exit has shifted focus away from huge questions that still remain unanswered.

It wasn't Ashley Carson's action point so a third thing is apparent. CT, co-director of the DC, the man who promised us an answer, has lost his voice.
So, on 2 important action points.....

1. Was the trip booked? 'Yes. Errrr..... hang on a minute'
2. Did CFC ever lend the DC money? 'No. Errrr..... hang on a minute'

We were a shambles, we are a shambles and we will remain a shambles until we have transparency about what the hell is going on at our club

Ashley Carson has repeatedly said that he is working in the best interests of the club, therefore how can he wash his hands of the subject? That said, it amazes me that to date, he has chosen not to meet with the ex members of staff and the parents who were owed money.

Just an update on a few subjects:

1) The FBT investment was announced by the club on 22/09/16. 14 weeks have now passed and there is still no confirmation at Companies House detailing Rodney Walker's or FBT's involvement.

2) The CCJ issued against Chesterfield Football Club (CFC 2001 Ltd) on 27/07/16 for £6,327 which AC claimed was issued against the company incorrectly and that he would get the judgment set aside still shows on the club's credit file.

3) The CCJ issued against CFC Football Development School Ltd on 14/11/16 for £12,870 is still showing as unpaid.

DA seems, from public records, to have run all his companies impeccably........until he put these clowns in charge at CFC. You'd think he would want to preserve his reputation.

As I have said countless times, whilstever Sutcliffe is anywhere near the set up it will continue to stagger from one catastrophe to another. He's in self preservation mode, hence his pathetic phone call to Zorro.

Call me cynical, but my interpretation is that all we're currently seeing is spin and evasion until Allen, closely followed by Carson, leave CFC as some empty shell.

Sutcliffe's already been hung out to dry to a certain extent and it wouldn't surprise me if Turner joins him at some point.

But far too late to make any real difference to the legacy they've created, of course.

Sorry all, but I was one of those that experienced what the CFSS inherited, so you'll have to forgive me if I've a profound sense of history repeating itself...

.... how do you think our Ashley will handle the problem that technically forced the previous AGM to be abandoned? The fact that our Dave will not be there to sign the bit of paper which guarantees our credit for the next financial year. Our Ashley will look a right prat if he discloses that said bit of paper has already been signed in advance (in my opinion), 'cos people will rightly think that it's all been a bit of an artificial pantomime. Hey ho, what fun we are having.

I'm convinced, utterly convinced that Allen will separate the ground from the club. Carson says otherwise, but on his past statements why should I believe anything that comes out of his mouth?

You're forgetting that he has worked with both previously.

I see Sutcliffe's academy still enjoys a double page spread in the CFC programme.

With Sutcliffe, someone openly accused of deceit by both Turner and Carson at November's fans' forum, writing accompanying notes.

So much for supposed 'zero tolerance' - and we can only hope full price is being paid for such prominent advertising.

PS: have the appropriate changes been made to their listing at Companies House, yet?

PPS: has their latest CCJ been satisfied yet?

My son has just been offered a place at the International Development Academy, but as it is quite a chunk of money every month I've been doing some research. Are things really in that much of a mess/muddle between the club, academy LS and others?

I think if you want the best for your son both training/education wise and also if you have concerns about the financial side of things please spend a couple of hours reading the previous 156 pages of this thread.
