I have to complement the "Alternative Away Day' feature on Spireites Player
Over 8 minutes of match highlight all shot at pitch level, shows some really good action and the skills of the players.
It also clears up most of the major issues...
Novak's first was offside but by a matter of inches
Gboly's disallowed goal is a matter of interpretation. It didn't hit Novak and he made an exaggerated attempt to leave the ball alone, The deflection did the keeper not Novak being in his line of sight.
Clear contact on Gboly for the first booking and at that speed he was travelling, going down was understandable.
His second booking was inconclusive but looked a bit like a dive, however, I don't see how the referee could be sure
I have given Player some stick over the years but these features are really good and add real value to the subscription.

All agreed. As posted elsewhere, I think we can put to bed any argument that Bolly 'dived' twice.

I agree. It's been an excellent feature all season. Rochdale's Media team have had a fair crack as well, but it's not as good as ours.
The thing is, the ref thought the ball hit Novak. Simple as that. He was wrong, but that's what he thought. None of the other officials have a view to contradict him. In my opinion, the interesting thing about the mess is that the decision is not made at the time Gboly plays the ball, so it's in defiance of the offside rule.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on
