I don't really understand all the animosity towards them. Yes they are probably going a little bit too far in some instances but good for them for trying to stand against the shambles that is modern football.

I havent got a problem with them and what they feel about things but its all getting a bit silly with all the different protests and rabbiting on about not wanting the game but being forced to. We get it now just get on with hosting the game and enjoy being in the public spotlight and getting a wedge of cash for doing so!!

I do understand people thinking it's going too far and getting stupid; but at the end of the day they were formulated on the principle that they were against this whole side to football. Fair play to them I say, whether or not we agree with them they're allowed an opinion and a right to protest and they've done so.

Well in that case they should never have entered the FA Cup and better hope they never get promoted to the Football League cos they'll be Skys first pick for a L2 match if they do ever get there.

I think they're doing a great job, and the sooner some more of the fans of the Premiership circus start to demonstrate who the really important people are, the better.
You can approve of their motives whilst disagreeing with the tactics, but the talk of media hogs, etc. is wrong. How else do you get the message across, and as for taking the money, good luck to them - if it gets them up the leagues and even more publicity it can only be good.
The sheer level of animosity towards them shows just how far things have gone in persuading proper fans that Sky are the ultimate power in football. They aren't - we are.

Surely if they get promoted even to the conference then games are shown on BT Sport and surely they would have to have sponsors on for extra income and also would be receiving television money every now and again. I understand the principles behind it but if they are wanting to succeed then surely they are going to have to rethink the way they do things.
Although the fact they are 17th in the league at the minute and not won a game in the league in 2 months suggests that they wont be going anywhere quickly.

They would have got more sympathy from me if they had put out a statement prior to the draw reaffirming their principles and appealing to the TV companies not to pick their match

It would have been met with a chorus of people shouting 'media hogs'.
Nice idea though, but appealing for TV time on Saturday 3pm. Anything else would be unfair to the opposition - us.

fair point that Ex3.
Or, they had said were not happy with the TV change, so the revenue we gain we will donate (after costs) to help for heroes/RBL etc as its so close to the 11th. Now that would have been a proper gesture.

Wait until franchise football arrives - watch them premiership fans squeel then. American/Italian and Gulf owners jumping in now the big money is due.
