Looking on Twitter it seems the weather is Gash in Manc and there are a few questioning if the game will be on.

Forecast I looked at suggested rain stopping this afternoon and dry all evening.

Really hope we stuff these.

Modern day football ticket prices I understand protests, banners whatever.

But the fact they're getting quite a good pay-off for being on telly and they're protesting is very unappreciative of the fact that there is quite a natural public interest in their club.

As others have said, just seeking attention for the sake of it now.

Pitch looks like it would take a bit of rain from any footage I've seen

The peoples club....

Albion Rovers in Scotland had a "pay what you want" season ticket. That I can get on board with. That empowered their fans and was a bold, risky but generous move.

Standing in silence? Lurking in a park for forty-five minutes?

Whilst I'm sure I'm missing the point somewhat, I also find it ever so slightly hard to sympathise with a club that was formed by disenchanted Manchester United fans. I understand their anti-Glazer stance and applaud their fan-run ethic, but you know what, the last twenty years haven't been that bad for the red half of Essex has it? My empathy well is pretty much empty.

They could've been born in Darlington. Think on that.

Erm, isn't this our only chance to do the 1 minute's silence for Remembrance Day seeing as our fans have missed out with the match moving to Monday, extreme arrogance by the FCUM to request that this 'protest' goes ahead!

On twitter it shows the fire engine pumping water off the pitch. So should be okay

Have the team done the demonstration for the first few minutes on their behalf?
