Wonder how many folk will be there. Should be decent on a massive screen like that; my Grandad was loving it on Sunday, he said it was like being at the pictures.

Dunno .. They deserve more than they will probably get given the cost of the new screen

Probably know your Grandad .... being one myself lol

Haha, if you've seen an inebriated oldie driving recklessly on a mobility scooter that's probably him!

Happiness is like a cake. Have too much; and you get sick of it.

Star has flat screen each end of pub often shows 2 games at same time so if stand in the right spot you can watch both

Vic and peacock have decent screens too

Rose & Crown or tramway probably best tipple wise I'd have thought.

Grouse was good. Good Bombardier, plenty of screens and free fish, chips, peas and assorted stuff from the chippy next door!

The ales might be alright but the lagers were pretty rank last night! (especially the stella)

Tipple quality? The lager is suitably cold, I'll give you that but I can't think of many other redeeming features. I had a rank pint of Brampton Best in there last time.
