First goal will be important. Anything less than 100% commitment and we are out.

the key man, as last year, is Jayo.

He needs a goal to get his season kick started again. Main man.

I hope DS takes the FA Cup seriously and doesnt play squad players.
That said if he takes it seriously we win 4-1, if he doesnt then a draw at best 1-1

It's the players who need to take it serious.
God I hate this league.

I thought you were better than that, but hoped you weren't.

It's just a turn of phrase. My bum isn't my best bit so I don't think I'd have much chance of selling tickets ;)

I predict a wash out if the rain continues. Just landed in Manchester and its absolutely belting it down and looks like it has been a while

No word from fc about any postponement - with it being a new ground I expect the drainage will be pretty good.

edit - pitch deemed fine at the moment with no inspection planned according to fc's twitter.

@FCUnitedMcr: There has been a lot of rain but currently the pitch is deemed to be fine - no inspection planned. If that changes, we'll update ASAP.

Should be fine, surely rain shouldn't be postponing matches in 2015

Well just letting you know it's still very heavy rain and thick grey cloud so keep an eye out.

I drove from Chesterfield to the North West yesterday evening and the weather was horrendous. The rain when I was travelling along the M56 was as bad as I have ever seen for 20 minutes or so. The ground in Manc will be saturated.

It might influence DS's team selection though. It would mine.

They've uploaded a picture of the pitch. It looks ok, albeit there are some puddles around the sides.

It rains about 70% of the time up here, doubt they'll postpone, it's only drizzling.

Before I forget, 0-2. Town win in unremarkable circumstances. I'm good with that.
