Just popped over to the Pompey Forum for an update and it seems that things are not all roses in the garden after all.Yes.they rate their new manager, but I would be rated if following Awford and Whittingham by the sounds of it.
So,3 months in.Some like the 'easy on the eye' football, some are complaining about the 'one striker' two defensive midfielders, inability to get the ball into the box, particularly at home.15 new signings, and generally they still think he will take them up.Roberts has been disappointing(after all the hype)but the Marquee signing Kyle Bennet has been hugely disappointing.Comments about his attitude, his decision-making are there for all to see.Apparently he has 3 strikers on the bench(inc Tubbs) and the supporters cannot understand it.Me I was cook's biggest fan,I loved his approach, the way he spoke to the media, and when it clicked on the pitch it was great. However,it appears he has taken his Plan A to Portsmouth and still has no Plan B.Still worth keeping a watchful eye on their season(which I'm sure we all do,irrespective of the one's that claim not to bother)

Last two games, drew at home to Mansfield and lost to County, you can't have too many bad runs in you want top 3.

Every time I bet on Portsmouth they let me down.... So perhaps I am to blame for their indifferent start.

People say these things just to annoy me.

That is exactly why I said it, how did you know?
There could be no other reason
